Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister ###. Lord, You see the deep emotional pain that has burdened ### for almost two decades. We ask that You reveal Your presence and love in a tangible way. Your Word says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that ### feels Your comforting presence and knows that You are near.
Father, we ask for healing for ###'s heart and spirit. You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You can mend what feels broken beyond repair. Your Word promises, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for ### and ask for a miraculous touch of Your healing power.
Lord, we also pray for justice and peace in ###'s situation. It is difficult to see those who have caused pain seemingly prosper, but we trust in Your perfect timing and justice. Help ### to release any bitterness and to find peace in Your sovereignty. Your Word says, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We pray that ### can cast all burdens upon You and find rest.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You give ### a renewed sense of purpose and a reason to stay. Fill ### with hope and the assurance that You have a plan for their life, as Your Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
