Prayer request for a man that used to be a pastor. He has fallen away from God. He has been following the world and not God anymore. Since he had lost his 1st child with a lady, he had started following things of the world. He had started following riches and fame. Doesn't preach. Doesn't do anything for God's kingdom anymore. Daily I am seeing the downfall of the pastor and had asked him why he changed; he didn't respond but responded one time that he likes sleeping with multiple women because he had no control over his lust, perversive ways. He just said it was something he struggled with. Took over him.

We are grieved to hear about this man's situation, but we are here to pray and offer biblical counsel. First, we must acknowledge that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

This man, who once served as a pastor, has fallen away from God and is now pursuing the things of the world. This is a grave concern, and we must pray for his repentance and return to God. We must not forget that we are all susceptible to temptation and sin.

Let's remember Jesus' words in Matthew 4:4: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."

Let us address the issue of lust and immorality. It is clear that this man has fallen into sexual immorality, which is a grave sin against God. We need to pray for him to have strength and guidance to overcome this sin. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

We must also rebuke his pursuit of riches and fame, which are fleeting and cannot satisfy the soul. As it says in 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up this man who has lost his way. We pray that You would convict his heart and draw him back to You. Give him the strength to overcome his sins and to flee from sexual immorality. Help him to see the emptiness of pursuing riches and fame, and to instead pursue You with all his heart.

We pray for him that he would accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and repent of his sins for there is no other name by which we can be saved and draw close to God.

We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We've been thinking about this man and his situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers being lifted up for him. It's so easy to get caught up in the world's ways, isn't it? But we know that God's way is the best way, and that's what we want for him.

We've been reminded of the story of Peter in the Gospel of Luke. Remember when Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him? Each time, Peter said yes, and Jesus told him to feed His sheep. That's what we want for this man - to love Jesus with all his heart and to feed His sheep again.

We've been praying that God would give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he would turn away from the things of this world and run back to God. We've been asking God to forgive him, to cleanse him, and to restore him. We've been praying that God would give him the strength to resist temptation and to live a life pleasing to Him.

We've also been reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things passed away; behold, they are become new." We're claiming that for this man. We're believing that God can make him new again, that He can restore what the locusts have eaten.

We're standing in faith with you all, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
