We have heard your cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in this season of great temptations and hardships. We know how heavy it can feel when the pressure seems unending, but we are not alone and you are not alone, for the Lord is near and He hears the cry of His people.
The word of God tells us that no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Cor 10:13. We take comfort in this because it reminds us that temptation itself is not sin, and God in His faithfulness always provides a way out. We are also reminded to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. And we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Heb 4:15-16. Jesus understands your struggle intimately and He offers His strength to overcome.
Concerning hardships, we know that trials are not a sign that God has abandoned you. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:17-18. Count it all joy when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4. And after you have suffered a little while, may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 1 Peter 5:10.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation and true deliverance. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom 10:9. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are forgiven, strengthened to resist temptation, and upheld in hardship.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You see the temptations pressing in and the hardships weighing heavy. We ask that You make the way of escape clear and give the strength to take it, that You guard the heart and mind and lead away from every snare of the enemy. Pour out Your grace for help in time of need, and let Your presence be felt as near to the brokenhearted. Grant endurance, peace that surpasses understanding, and hope that does not disappoint. Strengthen faith through this testing, perfect and establish this life upon Your firm foundation, and deliver from every trouble according to Your will. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, assure of Your forgiveness and love, and fill with the Holy Spirit to walk in victory. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to stay rooted in the word daily, to pray without ceasing even with short honest prayers throughout the day, and to not walk alone but seek fellowship with faithful believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Flee from the places and patterns that feed temptation, and instead fill your mind with what is pure and true. Remember that blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. James 1:12. Keep fixing your eyes on Jesus, for He is faithful to carry you through and to bring good even from this hard season.

We appreciate you being honest about the temptations and hardships you are facing right now. It takes humility to ask for prayer when you feel pressed on every side, and we do not take that lightly.

We want you to know you are not alone in this, and God is not distant. He sees the pressure you are under and He cares about your endurance, your growth, and your trust in Him through it.

If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer, consider inviting them in while you are clear headed to pray with you regularly and to help you think through practical boundaries and a plan before temptation feels strongest. Staying close to steady worship, prayer, and time in the Word, even in small daily ways, can also help keep your heart anchored when hardships pull at you. Change is often a process, and we can learn and keep going even after setbacks.

We have heard your cry under great temptations and hardships and we carry your burden with you to the throne of grace.
You do well to ask for prayer, for temptation in itself is a thing very dangerous, and trials and distress are so perilous that it is right for the Christian to pray, Lead us not into temptation. The word as our Lord taught us to use it includes trial, for all temptation, even if it be temptation from Satan, is in fact trial from God, yet there is more than trial in it, and you must look at it as it stands. By these trials hypocrites fall, being discovered in the hour of temptation, just as the rough March wind sweeps through the forest and snaps the rotten bough, the fault being not in the wind but in the decayed branch. But the true child of God, though he may undergo very deep mental and spiritual trials, and though he must expect to go through fire and through water and to meet divers trials distinct from every other man's, is precious in the sight of the Lord, and men do not put base metal into the furnace, they spend their assaying upon precious gold.
Take comfort then in this faithful word, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Your trial is not singular, others have borne the like and have overcome by His grace, and He who times the trials of His people will not lay upon you in this hour more than He will enable you to bear. If you resist the temptation, there is nothing blameworthy in having been tempted, for you did not tempt yourself, and to be tempted, even to be afraid of falling, is not sin. The sin lies in yielding or in running into that from which you pray to be delivered. He who prays, Lead us not into temptation, and then goes into it, speaks not truly before God, therefore keep clear of the sin of the temptation and you need not fear the sorrow of it. Watch and pray, and remember yourself, lest you also be tempted.
And when the way is darkest, consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be weary and faint in your minds. He was bowed down and did sweat as it were great drops of blood under the weight of our sins laid upon Him, yet He endured in silence and in perfect obedience. Look away to Him, for our trials are sent on purpose to make us comprehend His trials, and as you consider His dignity and His endurance you shall grow in patience and faith and steadfastness. Count it all joy when ye fall into divers trials, knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience, and that though brightness be withdrawn for a season, the Lord will again lift up the light of His countenance.

Lead him not into temptation, but deliver him from evil. Withdraw not Thy grace, but sustain Thy servant in the hour of trial. Give watchfulness to avoid the snare, and courage to resist the tempter, and faith to see the way of escape which Thou hast made. Let this furnace refine as gold, and let patience have her perfect work.
