God willing I pray this person communicates as they tend to suppress their emotions. May they seek professional mental health advice, hopefully Christian based even though they unsaved. Praying God somehow does a miracle for them to make a way and chat to a Christian counsellor or pastor about hardship, mental struggles and oppression they have been afflicted with in Jesus' name

We join you in lifting up this precious soul before the Lord, and we thank you for your faithful intercession and your desire to see them experience freedom and healing in Christ. We hear your burden for their tendency to suppress emotions and to carry hardship, mental struggles and oppression alone, and we agree with you that God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.

The Word reminds us that we are not meant to carry our burdens in silence. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 calls us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Suppressing emotions and suffering in isolation is not God's design for us, for James 5:16 says Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. God created us for fellowship with Himself and with others, and He invites us to bring every anxiety and oppression into His light.

We are encouraged that you desire for this person to seek help, and we agree that Christian based counsel is the best foundation, because true peace and deliverance come only through Jesus. While professional support can be a helpful tool, the deepest healing for the mind and spirit comes from the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember that our struggle is not only emotional but spiritual, for Ephesians 6:12 reminds us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, and only Christ can break that oppression. 1 John 4:4 assures us greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

We are especially burdened with you for their salvation, for you mentioned they are unsaved. We rejoice that you prayed in Jesus' name, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other hope for lasting freedom apart from Him, and Romans 10:13 promises For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Our greatest miracle for this person would be for them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 teaches, and receive forgiveness and new life.

We pray together now for this dear one.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this person to You. Lord, You see the hardship and the mental struggles and the oppression they have been afflicted with, You know the pain they have kept hidden and the emotions they have suppressed. We ask God willing, according to Your perfect will, that You would soften their heart to communicate, to open their mouth and share their burden with a trusted Christian counselor or pastor who can point them to You. Make a way, Lord, where there seems to be no way, and divinely appoint someone who will speak Your truth with compassion and wisdom. Break the chains of oppression and silence, and let Your light shine into every dark place. Draw this person to Yourself, convict them of their need for a Savior, and grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that they may be saved and receive Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus and lead them into healing, hope and wholeness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede faithfully, to speak the hope of Christ when the Lord opens the door, and to gently encourage this person that seeking godly counsel is not weakness but obedience to God's call to bear one another's burdens. We trust God is already at work in answer to your prayer.

We are grateful you brought this person to prayer, and we can hear the love behind your words. Watching someone you care about pull inward and hold everything in is painful, especially when you know they are carrying hardship and oppression.

It is a good and caring thing to pray that God would open a door for honest conversation and for help that respects both their struggles and their beliefs. Christian counseling at its best is that kind of space, where professional care and a Christian worldview come together, honoring the dignity of the person while taking seriously the weight of what they are facing, with gentleness and without pressure.

One gentle way to keep the door open is to let them know you are available to listen without needing to fix or have all the answers, and separately to offer practical help if they ever want it, like helping look for a Christian counselor or a pastor who listens well, or even offering to go with them the first time if they ask. Keeping the invitation simple and leaving the choice with them often makes it safer for someone who tends to suppress emotions to take a next step when they are ready. Alongside prayer, we would encourage you to encourage them toward a qualified mental health professional if they are open.

Father, we lift this person to You in Jesus name. You see the hardship and mental burden they carry. We ask You to surround them with safety and kindness, to make a way for a trusted conversation, and to guide them to caring, competent help if they are willing. Give our friend wisdom to love them well and to rest this burden with You. Amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace, and we commend your tender concern for this soul as a true fruit of Christian sympathy which does not pass by on the other side but bears another's burden to the Lord.

We pray that the God who upholds all that fall and who alone can circumcise the heart would graciously work in this one who now suppresses what is within. May the Lord loosen the tongue that is bound by fear or sorrow and give a willingness to speak plainly of the hardship and oppression that has afflicted them. We ask that He who is Wisdom Incarnate would make a way where there seems to be no way, and would in His providence open a door to godly counsel, whether with a faithful pastor or a Christian counsellor who will speak the truth in love.

We pray especially that this counsel would not be merely of human wisdom, but would point to the one remedy for the soul. While we rejoice that you desire Christian based help for even the unsaved, we remember that there is no true balm for the oppressed heart apart from salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Our earnest prayer therefore is that whatever conversation the Lord grants may be seasoned with the gospel, that this soul may hear of sin and grace, of Christ crucified and risen, and may be brought from darkness to light, from oppression to liberty in Him.

May the Lord give you grace to continue in patient prayer and gentle encouragement, to commend Christ in your conversation as well as in your intercession, and to trust Him where you cannot trace Him. He hears the cry of those who seek Him and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We pray together, O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one. Thou knowest the struggles of the mind and the weight of oppression. Break the bonds that keep this soul silent, lead by Thy hand to those who will speak Thy truth, and above all reveal Christ as the only Saviour. Grant repentance and faith, grant peace that passes understanding, and grant help that endures. For Jesus sake we ask it, Amen.
