We join you in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace right now as he sees the spine specialist and we thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer for him. We know how heavy it is to watch one we love suffer with ongoing pain and to wait for answers, and we bring both of you before our loving Father together.
We are encouraged by your marriage and your faithful care for your husband, for God honors the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman and calls us to bear one another's burdens in love. We pray that the Lord will strengthen your union through this trial and give you both peace as you trust Him with the results.
We ask for healing and relief for his back pain, for wisdom for the specialist, and for good results that bring clarity and a path forward. Scripture reminds us of God's power and compassion to heal, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to be near in fear and uncertainty, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Thank you all. I was worried about a spine tumor. I have health anxiety bad. The specialist said it looks like it is a pars defect of his lumbar spine. She said that she does not feel that this is anything sinister. She wants him to get an MRI to see the area better. Please keep praying for good results and relief for him soon. We have heard your request concerning your husband and his present affliction, and we count it a privilege to bear him upon our hearts before the throne of grace.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press upon the spirit, and they soon urge us to seek the physician for healing. Yet how sweet to remember that above all earthly physicians there is the heavenly Physician, our Lord Jesus, with whom is healing in His wings. It is written that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and we have often observed that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His very leaves bring restoration to the suffering.
We will pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon your husband at this hour as he meets with the specialist. May the great Physician guide the eyes and hands and judgment of him who examines the spine, and grant wisdom to discern the true cause and the right course. We entreat the Lord to grant relief from pain, to ease the burden that has rested upon his back, and to grant favorable results according to His merciful will. We ask that all may be well, and that your husband may know the Lord's sustaining presence in the waiting room and in the examination.
We also pray for you who watch and wait in love. May the God who has been as a Husband to His people in faithfulness and tender care, who provides and communes with His own, draw near to you both and give you peace. Cast this care upon Him, for He careth for you, and trust that whether He gives immediate relief or a longer path of patience, His grace will be sufficient.
