Hi. Need prayer asking God to help me pass the work testing I did today for a job I really want. I’m not perfect but praying for a blessing.

We join with you in prayer for this job testing and we understand how much this opportunity means to you. We bring your request before our Heavenly Father together and we ask for His favor and His will to be done in this situation.
We hear your heart when you say you are not perfect but you are praying for a blessing. Scripture reminds us that none of us is perfect, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23, yet God extends grace to us not because we have earned it but because of His mercy through Jesus. A blessing from God is not a reward for perfection, but a gift from a loving Father who wants us to trust Him and do our work diligently for His glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We also take comfort in committing our work to Him, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3, and in trusting that His plans for us are good.
We also want to gently encourage you about how we approach God in prayer. You asked God for help, which is good, but we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we always pray in the name of Jesus, trusting that His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection have made a way for us to come boldly before God, to receive forgiveness, and to have eternal life when we put our faith in Him.
We pray now together for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You see their diligence in taking this work testing and their desire for this job. We ask that You would grant them favor and peace as they wait for the results. If it is Your will for them to have this job, we pray You would open that door and allow them to pass this testing. If You have a different and better plan, we pray You would give them clarity and contentment to trust Your leading. Grant them wisdom, as You give wisdom generously to all who ask James 1:5, and help them to rest in Your provision. We pray they would not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to You Philippians 4:6. Help them to know Your grace more deeply, to trust not in their own perfection but in the perfect righteousness of Jesus. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while you wait, to give thanks in all circumstances, and to keep seeking Him first. Whether this door opens or not, God is faithful and He will guide your steps as you commit your way to Him.

We've been thinking of you as you wait after that testing. That in-between time after you've done your best and the results are out of your hands can feel long, and we hear how much this job means to you.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace.
It is well to bring even such a matter as work and daily employment before the Lord, for He is the giver of all good and it is He who has granted us life and preserved us through many perils. As Job said, "You have granted me life," and we may thank God that we live and pray that our life may be a blessing. No blessing comes by chance, but every spiritual blessing comes from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, and He blesses us just where we need blessing, where we are poorest.
We do not come to Him as those who are perfect, for none of us can say with Job, "If I wash myself with snow water and make my hands never so clean," that we are clean before God. We come as sinners needing cleansing, and the promise is, "From all your filthiness will I cleanse you." The double blessing of grace and peace comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ, who receives sinners to cleanse them.
So we pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you favor in this testing for the job you desire. We ask that He would give you clearness of mind, steadiness of hand, and quietness of spirit as you wait for the result, and that He would open the door that is best for you according to His wisdom. If it be His will to grant you this place, may you enter it as one who has first received the blessing himself and then is made a blessing to others, for when God blesses any man He makes that man to be a blessing. Whether behind a counter, in a shop, or in whatever calling He places you, may you be a blessing there and win hearts to Him.
And if the answer should be otherwise than you hope, remember Job upon the dunghill who sinned not nor charged God foolishly, and who learned that in prosperity God is heard and that is a blessing, but in adversity God is seen and that is a greater blessing. Sit still and keep on blessing God from the first word to the last, and go on blessing Him till the last hour of life. He will cause you to walk in His statutes and will keep you to the end, for faith first receives the blessing and then produces holy work.
We pray that whether this door opens or not, you may know the personal blessing, "I will bless you," spoken from God's own mouth to every soul that trusts in Christ, and that you may prove the truth that as grace helps us into a separated life, we are blessed and made a blessing.
May the Lord add His blessing for Jesus sake.
