We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Father God, we ask that You would draw near to him in this time of struggle. The Scriptures tell us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we ask that You would surround ### with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to torment ###, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would bring healing to ###’s mind. Your Word tells us that You restore our souls (Psalm 23:3) and that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for clarity, peace, and soundness of mind for ###. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with godly counsel and support, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for ###. Give them patience, compassion, and the right words to speak life and hope into his situation. Let Your love be the foundation of all that is done for him.
Lord, we know that true healing and deliverance come only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If ### does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Open his eyes to see his need for You, and draw him to repentance and faith. For it is written, “If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We commit ### into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for his good, even when we cannot see it (Romans 8:28). Strengthen his faith, renew his hope, and fill him with Your joy. May he come to know the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
