Beloved of All
Dear brothers and sisters, Thank you again for your support and prayers. I wanted to recap my request and share a small update for those who may have missed the original message. I asked for urgent prayer for my mother, who recently traveled with my brother to Korea. My brother has very severe mental health issues and is extremely unstable. He has a history of controlling and unpredictable behavior, and my mother only went on this trip because he insisted. She herself has blood pressure problems and didn’t want to go, but went anyway, believing it would be safer to accompany him. They were meant to call me after arrival, but I haven’t received any contact — no messages, no calls, and their emails haven’t even been opened. It has been very distressing not to know if they arrived safely or if my mother is okay. I had asked for prayer over her safety, her health, and for God to intervene in my brother’s mental state — for him to either get proper help or, if it is God’s will, be led to an institution where he cannot harm or control her anymore. Update: Today, the host of the Airbnb they were supposed to stay at sent an email mentioning there’s a single rug in the bathroom — which suggests they did check in. It’s a small detail, but it helps confirm they arrived. Even though they haven’t called or replied, it’s a hopeful sign. Please continue praying for protection, peace, and clear communication — and that my mother will soon be free from this situation and eventually be able to live safely with me. With gratitude,

We lift up your heartfelt concerns before the Lord and thank Him for the small but meaningful sign that your mother and brother arrived safely in Korea. The silence you’ve endured has surely been agonizing, but we rejoice with you in this glimmer of hope. Yet, we also recognize the deeper spiritual and emotional battles at play here, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in God’s sovereignty and His promise to be a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble.

Your mother’s situation is a painful reminder of how sin and brokenness can distort relationships, especially when mental illness is involved. While we pray earnestly for your brother’s mind and heart to be healed, we must also acknowledge that his actions—controlling, unstable, and unpredictable—are not only symptoms of his condition but also manifestations of a spirit that is not submitted to Christ. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Where there is no self-control, there is often a lack of surrender to the Holy Spirit. We pray that your brother would encounter the Lord in a way that breaks through the darkness in his mind, leading him to repentance and true healing. If it is God’s will, we ask that he be placed in a situation where he can receive the professional and spiritual help he desperately needs—whether that be through medical intervention, institutional care, or a divine encounter that transforms him from the inside out.

At the same time, we are deeply concerned for your mother’s well-being. Her decision to accompany your brother, despite her own health struggles, reflects a love that is both commendable and heartbreaking. Yet, we must ask: has fear or obligation overshadowed her ability to seek safety and peace? Proverbs 22:3 warns, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* While we understand her motivations, we pray that she would not remain in a situation where her health—physical, emotional, or spiritual—is at risk. Your desire for her to be free from this and to live safely with you is a godly one, and we ask the Lord to make a way where there seems to be no way. Psalm 34:17-19 declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We claim this promise over your mother, asking God to intervene supernaturally to protect her, give her wisdom, and bring her to a place of safety soon.

We also want to address the spiritual atmosphere surrounding this situation. The enemy seeks to bring confusion, fear, and division, but we stand against that in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We bind every spirit of control, manipulation, and instability in your brother’s life, and we declare that no weapon formed against your mother shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would expose any hidden dangers, thwart any plans of harm, and surround your mother with His angels for protection (Psalm 91:11).

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s peace in this waiting season. Anxiety and fear are natural, but we are called to cast our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). As you wait for communication, we pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with an unshakable trust in God’s timing and His goodness. Remember that even in silence, He is working. Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, *"Then you shall call upon me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* Keep seeking Him, and He will guide you in how to proceed, whether that involves reaching out to authorities, contacting the embassy, or simply continuing to trust Him step by step.

**Our Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we thank You for the small confirmation that her mother and brother arrived safely, and we ask that You would continue to reveal Your presence in this situation. Father, we pray for supernatural protection over her mother—guard her heart, her mind, and her body. Strengthen her physically, especially with her blood pressure, and give her wisdom to know when and how to remove herself from harm’s way. Lord, if she has been coerced or manipulated into staying silent, we ask that You would break every chain of fear and give her the courage to reach out for help.

We lift up her brother to You, Lord. His mind and emotions are in turmoil, and we know that only You can bring true healing. We pray that You would intervene in his life, whether through medical help, divine conviction, or institutional care where he can no longer harm others or himself. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. If there are spiritual strongholds at work in his life, we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus. Replace confusion with clarity, instability with peace, and control with surrender to Your will.

Father, we ask for clear and open lines of communication to be established. Remove any obstacles—whether spiritual, technological, or human—that are preventing contact. Let Your light expose any deception or danger, and let Your truth prevail. We pray that this situation would resolve quickly and that her mother would soon be reunited with her in safety.

Lord, we also lift up our sister who has carried this burden. Comfort her, Father, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her patience as she waits, and let her feel Your presence tangibly in this time of uncertainty. Guide her in every decision she must make, and let Your will be done in this situation.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to bring harm, fear, or division. We declare that You, Lord, are in control, and we trust in Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to work all things together for the good of those who love You. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you wait for news from your mother and brother. It's been a long wait, and we understand the anxiety that comes with it. But we want you to know that we're holding you up in prayer, every step of the way.

We've heard your update about the Airbnb host's email, and we're clinging to that small detail as a sign of hope. It's a reminder that, even in the silence, God is at work. We're claiming Psalm 37:7 over this situation, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes." We trust that God sees your mother and brother, and He's working behind the scenes to bring them safely back to you.

In the meantime, we're asking God to give your mother the strength and wisdom to navigate this situation. We're praying for her physical health, her emotional well-being, and her spiritual fortitude. We're asking God to give her the courage to reach out for help if she needs it, and to protect her from any harm or manipulation.

For your brother, we're praying for a divine encounter that will transform his heart and mind. We're asking God to break any chains of control or instability that may be holding him back, and to fill him with peace, clarity, and surrender to God's will. We're also praying for clear communication, that the lines might open up and you can hear from your loved ones soon.

And for you, dear friend, we're asking God to fill you with His peace and comfort. We're praying that you would feel His presence with you in this waiting season, and that you would trust in His timing and His goodness.

We're believing with you for a swift and safe resolution, and we're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord together, trusting in His faithfulness.
