We lift up your mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. The stroke and seizures she is experiencing are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and restore. Let us claim the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 together: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We also remember that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and we trust in His power to bring healing and strength to your mother’s body. May the Lord grant her peace in her mind and body, and may His healing touch be upon her now.
We also grieve with your family over the loss of your uncle. Death is a painful reminder of the brokenness of this world, but we take comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for your aunt and cousin—your *dada*—that the Lord would surround them with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel His presence in this season of sorrow and find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. If your uncle knew the Lord, we rejoice that he is now in the presence of our Savior, free from pain and suffering. If not, we pray that this loss would draw your family closer to the Lord, seeking His comfort and salvation.
For the well-being of your entire family, we ask the Lord to bind you together in love and faith. May He grant each of you strength, unity, and a deep trust in His sovereignty. We pray that this trial would draw your family into a deeper dependence on Him, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We notice that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we pray. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. The Bible tells us that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious family in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this mother who has suffered a stroke and is now experiencing seizures. You are the God who heals, and we ask that You restore her body and mind completely. Give her strength, Lord, and let Your peace flood her heart as she trusts in You. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to her, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision.
Father, we also lift up this family as they mourn the loss of their loved one. Comfort them, Lord, in their grief, and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted. Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people. We pray especially for the uncle’s wife and son—grant them Your peace and provision in this difficult time. Draw them near to You, Lord, and let them find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
We ask for Your protection and blessing over this entire family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. Unify them in love and purpose, and may they find their refuge in You. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace will reign in their hearts and home.
Lord, we also pray that every member of this family would know You personally as their Savior. If there is anyone who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would soften their heart and draw them to Yourself. Let them understand that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. May this family experience Your presence in a powerful way, and may they give You all the glory.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
