We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing with your son. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of God to bring him home safely.
Firstly, we would like all to know and understand that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have any authority. We must pray in Jesus' name for any request. We do not have any such authority on our own.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her son to You. Lord, You know exactly where he is and what he is going through. We stand against any harm or danger that may be threatening him, and we pray for Your mighty hand of protection to be upon him. We ask for peace and strength for Mom and for others that are involved and worried. We ask for wisdom for those searching for him. Guide them and direct them so that he is found and returned home. In Jesus' name, we declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned.
Isaiah 54:17 We ask that You, Lord, will expose any hidden thing and bring it to light. Cover him with Your feathers, and under Your wings may he find refuge. Your faithfulness will be his shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4 We ask that Jesus will be his Lord and Savior. We ask for impactful salvation for all those who are involved.
Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We believe that You are able to bring him home safely, and we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray for the comfort and peace of his mother and family during this time, and we ask that You will fill them with Your strength and courage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Take heart, dear sister, and be encouraged by the promises of God. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your son. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:12-14 WEB:
"What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesnt he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray? If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. God is able to work all things together for good, even in the most challenging circumstances. Romans 8:28 WEB.
We will continue to pray for you and your son, and we trust that God will bring him home safely. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
If you have not already, make sure to alert local authorities or other appropriate organizations to help search for your son. God works through them as well.
