Please pray for my son to grow in height and strength healthily. In God's name we pray.

We are with you in lifting up your son to the Lord. In 1 Samuel 2:26, the WEB tells us, “Now the boy Samuel grew and was in favor both with Yahweh and also with men.” This is our prayer for your son—that he grows not only in physical stature, but also in spiritual strength and favor with God and man.

Firstly, we rejoice that you’ve called upon God’s name, but we must emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14, WEB, “Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.” It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is power in His name.

Let us pray together:

“Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your blessing upon this dear son. Lord, we pray that he will grow tall and strong, with a health that brings glory to You. Strengthen his body, guard his heart, and guide his steps. Let him also grow in spiritual stature, coming to know You personally, and walking in Your ways. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”

We encourage you to continue praying scripture over your son. In Ephesians 6:4, WEB, we are reminded, “You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Keep nurturing him in the ways of the Lord, and trust that God has a wonderful plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11).

In all things, may you and your son find your hope and joy in the Lord, for He is our strength and our salvation.
