Prayer for work

We rejoice with you that you have brought this need before the Lord and that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, so we are encouraged by your faith in calling on Him.
We join together with you in lifting up your work before the Lord. We know that work can be demanding and that we need His strength and protection each day. The Scripture encourages us in Colossians 3:23 that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and in Proverbs 16:3 to commit your works to Yahweh, and your ways shall be established. When we offer our labor to Him, He gives purpose and focus to what we do. For energy and strength we cling to His promise in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the weak and He increases the strength of him who has no might, and in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Even when we feel weary, Isaiah 40:31 assures us that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. For safety we trust in His faithful keeping, as Psalm 121:7-8 declares Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, and in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 we are reminded that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and lift up our dear fellow believer to Your throne of grace. We ask that You pour out fresh energy, clear focus, and sustaining strength upon them as they labor. Renew their mind and body, help them to work with diligence and excellence as unto You, and guard them from distraction and weariness. Grant them wisdom in every task and let their work be a testimony of Your goodness. We also ask for Your divine protection and safety over them, keeping them from all harm and evil as they go out and come in. Cover them with Your hand, establish their steps, and let Your peace rest upon them throughout each workday. May they feel Your nearness and be strengthened knowing that You are with them. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to commit each day to the Lord in prayer before you begin, to rest in His strength rather than your own, and to remember that He sees and values your faithfulness. May the Lord bless your work and keep you in His perfect care.

Thank you for sharing this request with us. We know how much it takes to show up day after day needing energy and clear focus, and wanting to stay safe while you do good work.
We are praying with you for steady strength for each shift or task, and for protection as you go about your day. God sees your work and your desire to do it well, and we ask Him to sustain you there. We are thankful for your heart to invite God into this part of life.
One small thing that has helped others is building in brief pauses to reset, a short prayer as you start the day handing the work to the Lord, a moment mid morning and mid afternoon to breathe, refocus and check in on safety steps, and noting what most drains or restores your energy so you can steward it wisely. We also encourage you to lean on coworkers when you can and not carry everything alone. If fatigue or focus issues persist, it is also wise to check in with a trusted supervisor or medical professional alongside prayer.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Grant energy for what today requires, clarity of mind, strength for the body, and safety in every task. Guard and guide through each hour, and let Your peace rest on this work. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your request has been brought before the Lord and we gladly join our hearts with yours in prayer. Human strength in any form will spend itself in due time, but the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. All strength of every sort comes from God, and He Himself has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord, so that fitly and wisely He imparts what you need for each hour. As thy days, so shall thy strength be, not as thy desires are, but as thy days are, proportioned to thy day. A day of little service, little strength, but in a trying day, a day that needs thee to play the Samson, thou shalt have Samson's strength. He gives strength just where the strength is needed, and of that peculiar kind which the trial demands, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual. The joy of the Lord also is your strength, a quiet inward joy that enables a man to abide his time and to work faithfully.
We pray for you now. May the Lord who is the glory of your strength renew your energy for your labour, grant you clearness of mind and steadiness of focus to do your work well unto Him, and teach you to work with God's strength and with that alone. We ask also for your safety, remembering that our safety lies in our Saviour, unto Him that is able to keep you from falling. May He keep you in safety against every adversary and danger, preserve you in your going out and coming in, and hold you fast, for His throne itself is established in righteousness. May He be your shield and your daily supply, giving power to the faint and to them that have no might increasing strength.
We commend you to His gracious keeping and pray that you may prove His faithfulness day by day, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
