Thank you for sharing this request. I have prayed for you and will continue to pray for your work, for strength and clarity each day, and for the Lord to keep you safe as you handle sharp metal and work around slippery oil.
God cares about the work of your hands. Scripture shows that He is the one who puts wisdom and understanding in the heart to know how to do skilled work, even detailed work with metal and with careful craftsmanship. Ask Him each morning to fill you with that wisdom, to steady your hands, to sharpen your focus, and to help you work with a willing and quiet heart. When your heart is stirred by Him to do your work well and faithfully, that is His grace at work in you.
Remember also that God works in you before He works through you. He is shaping your character as you labor, sometimes smoothing rough edges in ways that are not always comfortable. Be diligent in what is before you, give your best effort, and trust that He is using this season to grow you. The Bible encourages us to work quietly and faithfully to provide for our needs, and to add diligence to our faith as we grow.
Above all, rest in what Christ has already finished for you. Your standing before God does not come from your own effort or performance, but from the completed work of Jesus on the cross. Salvation is His gift of grace received by believing in Him. Because that great work is finished, you can cease striving to earn His favor and simply rest in Him, while you serve Him wholeheartedly in your daily tasks. The same God who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ.
So I pray that the Lord will renew your energy when you are tired, guard your mind so you can stay focused, and give you physical strength for each shift. I pray He will protect you from cuts, slips and falls, and every hazard, and give you alertness to work safely and well. May He make your work a testimony of His goodness, and may you keep your eyes on Him rather than on the pressures around you, knowing He is with you.
