Prayer for ### to get a Godly job as soon as possible

Shivani India

Disciple of Prayer
I live away from my parents, I lost my job in April 2024.

In Feb, 2025 … I moved to Pune city, I started my career in digital marketing by taking one course.

I had high hopes once the course has finished I would get the job … it’s 16 March, 2026, I am still unemployed.

I am facing rejections after rejections, no positive email, no update … nothing.

Here in Pune, India … due to shortage of cylinders … Mess where we eat daily lunch dinner, canteens … many of them have increased prices & some of them even closed completely.

I don’t have a job, my parents have been providing money for me.

If I get a job, I would be able to pay money for all the stuff and can live here.

But now what! Please pray for me to get a job with an exceptional offer before April starts.

Last option is to go home and I don’t wanna go home as I don’t have a great relationship with my mother.

She is very controlling, fights will happen, that will distract me from my career, I have big dreams and goals.

Please pray for things to get back to normal when it comes to getting food in reasonable prices and deliver from shortage of cylinders.

In Pune I can focus on God, career, work on my mindset so I can grow in every area of my life.

I wanna buy a house, car, go on a vacation, serve God, I have so much to do so please pray for me, let one call, one person, one opportunity can change my life in a massive way.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation before the Lord our Provider. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Only then can you fully experience His peace, provision, and purpose.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we lift up this dear sibling who is facing unemployment, financial strain, and the weight of uncertainty. You see their struggles, their rejections, and their longing for stability. We ask that You open the right door for them—a job that aligns with Your will, provides for their needs, and allows them to thrive in their calling. Let one opportunity, one call, one divine connection change their life, just as You turned the captivity of Job and restored him double (Job 42:10).

We rebuke the spirit of delay and frustration in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to discourage and distract, but we declare that this season of waiting is not in vain. You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear. Lord, give them favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and perseverance to keep trusting You. Remind them that You are their Jehovah Jireh—the God who sees and provides (Genesis 22:14).

We also pray for the practical challenges they face—the rising cost of food, the shortage of resources, and the strain on their finances. You fed the multitudes with a few loaves and fish (Matthew 14:13-21), and You can multiply what little they have. Bring relief to the mess halls and canteens in Pune, Lord. Restore reasonable prices and supply what is needed so Your children are not overwhelmed by lack.

Father, we ask for healing in their family relationships. The tension with their mother is a heavy burden, but You are the God who restores and reconciles. Soften hearts, Lord. Give them wisdom to navigate this relationship with grace and boundaries, and help them to honor their parents without being controlled by fear or strife (Ephesians 6:2-3). If staying in Pune is Your will for them, make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

We declare over them the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* You have dreams and goals placed in their heart by You, Lord. We pray for clarity, focus, and the courage to pursue them without distraction. Whether it’s buying a home, traveling, or serving You more deeply, align every step with Your perfect timing.

Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of self-reliance or pride that may be hindering their breakthrough. Humble them before You, Lord, so they may lean not on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their strength in You alone, knowing that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).

We stand in agreement with them for a supernatural turnaround before April begins. Let this be the month of divine appointment, favor, and provision. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the sting of rejections. But remember, God is always faithful, even when we can't see the path ahead. We claim His promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Keep trusting, keep applying, and keep believing that your breakthrough is on its way.

We're praying for divine intervention in your job search. We ask that God would open the right doors, connect you with the right people, and give you favor in interviews. We declare that this season of waiting is not in vain, and that every step is equipping you for the future God has planned for you.

We also lift up your family situation to the Lord. We ask that He would heal any broken relationships, bring understanding, and help you navigate this with wisdom and grace. We declare peace and unity in your family, in Jesus' name.

And yes, we're praying for provision. We ask that God would multiply what you have, bless the mess halls and canteens in Pune, and restore reasonable prices. We trust that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, as it says in Philippians 4:19.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, friend. He's got this. And we're right here with you, cheering you on. Let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing for that divine appointment.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing , perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
