Beloved of All
Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of a heart that wants to walk closely with the Lord, and I join with you in asking God to answer these requests according to His will.
You asked for restored peace, for grace to endure, and for wisdom and understanding to seek God daily. Scripture shows that true peace and true wisdom belong together and both come from God alone. The wisdom that comes from above is gentle and peaceable, and it leads to peace with God and peace in your own heart. The wisdom of this world, by contrast, leads to strife and inner turmoil and can never settle the soul. God offers peace to those who were once at war with Him, saying come and reason together, though your sins are as scarlet they shall be as white as snow. You cannot know that settled peace until you know His grace, and when His grace is understood, His peace follows.
That is why the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It is the starting place. Knowledge can give you facts, but wisdom gives you life and shows you how to live. Wisdom is more valuable than rubies or gold, and nothing you could desire compares to it. Scripture personifies wisdom as a voice crying out in the open, inviting everyone to come and receive. It is like a banquet that has been prepared for all who will come. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and by wisdom the Lord founded the earth and by understanding He established the heavens.
When you ask for wisdom, you are asking for the principal thing. Solomon asked for wisdom and understanding to lead well, and God was pleased to give it to him in abundance, and with it He added what Solomon had not even requested. God still loves to give wisdom to those who ask. Her ways are pleasant and all her paths are peace. In one hand she holds length of days, in the other riches and honor, not as the world defines them, but as God gives them to those who walk with Him.
You stood on the promise that if you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. That is His invitation and His assurance. As you draw near day by day, He will pour out understanding, show you hidden things you have not seen, and give you better ways to walk. He will strengthen your steps and keep you from growing weary in doing good, for those who sow in peace will reap a harvest of righteousness.
I pray that the Lord will restore peace to your mind where it has been troubled, grant you grace for each challenge as it comes, and fill you with wisdom and understanding that comes from above. May He give you victory where you have faced long trials, keep you from weariness as you continue to do good, and bring faithful people around you to support and guide you. May He reveal Himself more deeply as you seek Him daily, and may you know both His grace and His peace in full measure through Jesus Christ.
