Disciple of Prayer
I'm appreciative of the prayers. I really need an attorney this week for my appeal and I need continuance protection over my finances in Jesus Christ mighty name, praying Psalms 91 over my wages and bank accounts, God's protection over them from the property owner and their attorneys.
We have court next week for the attorneys fees, and I need God to intervene and put a stop to it. I have reached out to the city of ### for the code enforcement violation letter, and in Jesus Christ name, I pray I get it this week.
My other request is the ongoing friend request. Many of you know that I have a friend who is in a relationship with a girl who he is not equally yoked with. I guess they had found comfort in the recover process, but he's not an alcoholic, she is. She relapsed the beginning of this year and they have hidden their relationship to the church. Many of us found out later on, that they were dating. The problem is, it's changed him, and not in a good way. She couldn't even go up to pray for him in public when he shared his testimony, and that broke my heart. He has a lot of love to give, and she hides him. She has played with his emotions and is doing everything she can to keep him, all the while taking advantage of his vulnerability. I'm afraid he is repeating the same mistake twice, hoping for a different result. As a friend, and someone who cares about him, it hurts. When I hear him talk about God and how the Holy Spirit was doing a work in him, it made me look at him in a Godly fashion, not flesh. It is pretty obvious that they are not equally yoked and that the church leaders would not approve. A Godly relationship is never to be hidden. She's the type of girl, that what she wants, she will get, it doesn't matter who gets hurt in the process. I worry for him, and the church. She's mocked God, mocked King David, she displays a very arrogant persona, and very prideful, as though she's too good to go through trials. She hangs around the church pastors a lot. Maybe she thinks my friend is not good enough for the pastors approval, so she hides him. Who knows, but at the end of the day, it is obvious that they are not equally yoked and on and off again relationship. This has changed him. He hasn't responded to my message. I just continue to pray Psalms 91 over him in Jesus Christ mighty name AMEN.
