Prayer for this loved one's salvation

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I pray they get right with Jesus and for heart healing for them and for restoration. An in-law mistreated them so I'm praying for divine justice cos it was really destructive and they (in-law) destroyed a lot of property not belonging to them.

We stand with you in prayer for your loved one and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that salvation comes.

We join you in praying for their salvation, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We pray that the Lord in His mercy will draw this loved one to Himself, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, soften their heart to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and grant them repentance and faith that leads to new life.

We also lift up their need for heart healing and restoration. We know the Lord sees the deep wounds left by mistreatment and loss, and He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray that God will heal the pain, trauma, and grief they have carried, restore what has been broken and stolen, and bring wholeness. We hold onto the promise in Joel 2:25 that God will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, and we ask Him to bring restoration spiritually, emotionally, and practically in a way that testifies to His goodness and power to redeem.

We hear your cry for divine justice regarding the in-law who mistreated them and destroyed property that did not belong to them. God is a God of perfect justice and He sees every wrong. What was done is sin before the Lord, for to steal and to destroy what belongs to another violates His command and His heart for righteousness. At the same time we are called to release vengeance to God and not to harbor bitterness or a desire for personal revenge. Romans 12:19 reminds us, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We must trust the Lord to be the righteous Judge, to repay rightly, and to bring conviction where repentance is needed. We are also called to pray even for those who have done harm, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, and we pray that this in-law would be brought under conviction, come to repentance, and make restitution where possible.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this precious loved one to You. We ask for their salvation, that You would draw them by Your Spirit, reveal Your Son to them, forgive their sins, and make them a new creation in Christ. Heal their broken heart, Lord, comfort them in their pain, remove bitterness and fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Bring complete restoration to their life, their heart, and all that the enemy has tried to destroy. We place the matter of justice in Your hands, trusting You to see, to judge righteously, and to act according to Your perfect will. Convict the in-law of sin, bring them to repentance, and let Your justice and mercy be displayed. Help our dear friend who is interceding to walk in forgiveness while trusting You, not overcome by evil, but overcoming evil with good as taught in Romans 12:21. Strengthen them as they continue to pray and love this loved one. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede faithfully, to speak the truth of the gospel in love, and to encourage your loved one toward healing through the Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Trust the Lord to work in His timing both for salvation and for justice, for He is faithful and He will not forsake those who seek Him.

We are holding your loved one with you in prayer, and we hear the weight you are carrying as you watch someone you care about walk through hurt.

Wanting them to know Jesus, to find healing in their heart, and to see what was broken made right are beautiful, loving prayers. It makes sense you would also long for justice after seeing an in-law act destructively and damage property that was not theirs to take. That kind of mistreatment can leave a person feeling powerless and worn down for a long time, even after the incident itself.

One gentle way we can walk with someone in this place is to stay steady and safe for them, not pressing but continuing to love them, pray for them, and when they are open, gently encourage connection with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with them toward healing at their own pace. For the matter of destroyed property, it can help to encourage wise, calm counsel about appropriate accountability, rather than carrying the burden of seeking justice alone.

We are praying for you as you carry this too.

Father, we lift this dear loved one to You in Jesus name. Draw them to Yourself, bring healing to their heart, and restore what has been broken. Give wisdom and peace to the one praying, and entrust all justice to Your righteous hands. Lead each step forward in Your grace. Amen.

Your prayer for this loved one is a right and tender burden, and I join you in it with all my heart. To pray that they may get right with Jesus is the greatest love you can show, for salvation is of the Lord alone and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. It is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, not by our own temper or honesty or good deeds, which can never satisfy the claims of divine justice or give a passport to the skies. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, and the Lord Himself cries, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple and how instantaneous is that way, for a look does not require a moment. My prayer with yours is that the Lord will give this dear one a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, for to be blind of heart is our sin, but to be made to see is the gift of grace. May the Holy Spirit take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, and write His law there, that they may with the heart believe unto righteousness and with the mouth make confession unto salvation.

For heart healing, you have brought the right physician. Our Lord Jesus Christ is that Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not only His fruit but even His leaves, His common things, His lower blessings of grace, are full of healing virtue. A word from Him, coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart, to conscience and affection. He knows what it is to be wounded, and He knows how to bind up the brokenhearted. I pray that this loved one may taste that healing, that the pardoning God would revive their spirit, and that the healing virtue which His grace infuses would work health and cure till they rejoice in divine love and make small account of former sorrows.

For restoration, we have a God of perfect restoration. When we repent and believe, He does not merely patch what is broken, He makes us as though we had never been cast aside. The blessed processes of regeneration and sanctification begin, and the Holy Spirit goes on working till we are made pure in heart to see God. What the in law has destroyed, what sin and cruelty have wasted, the Lord is able to restore in His own way and time. He beholds all that has been done and He will cause His people to advance from glory to glory.

Concerning the mistreatment and the destruction of property not belonging to them, you do well to leave this in the hands of Him who is great in justice. He does not wink at sin, but will vindicate His law, and vengeance belongs unto Him. We must bow before His justice and honor it, and confess that if we appealed to justice for ourselves, justice would condemn us, so we plead only mercy through the blood of Christ. In that same spirit we ask the Lord to do what is just and right regarding this wrong. He has seen what was destructive and what was taken, and nothing is hidden from Him. We pray that He would restrain further harm, bring conviction where there has been wrongdoing, and in His perfect wisdom let justice be done, and if it be His will, bring the offender also to repentance and faith, that they too might be saved.

May the Lord hear your cry and grant this loved one to look to Christ and live, to be healed by His leaves, and to be restored by His mighty grace, and may He keep your own heart in peace as you trust His just and merciful hand.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this loved one before the Lord and we agree with you in prayer for their salvation, for healing of heart, and for restoration.

We pray that God would draw them to Himself and that they would hear and receive the gospel with faith. The death of Jesus is the salvation of the world, and there is no other name by which we are saved. We ask that the Lord would give them a careful hearing of His word, a contrite heart, and a continual remembrance of His mercy, so that they would turn to Christ and find forgiveness and new life in Him alone. We pray this not as a distant hope but as a present gift, that they would not delay but would come to Him who takes away the sin of the world.

We also pray for healing for the wounds they carry. God hears the cry of the heart even when it is not spoken aloud, and He is near to those who are brokenhearted. We ask Him to bring comfort, to mend what has been torn, and to restore what has been broken in their life, giving strength and peace and a renewed hope.

Concerning the wrong done by their in law, the destruction and mistreatment of property that did not belong to them, we bring that injustice before God as well. Scripture teaches that God sees all things and will judge with perfect righteousness. What was done in destruction will not be overlooked by Him, and we ask Him to act according to His justice and truth, to restrain further harm, and to bring accountability in His way and time. At the same time we pray that all involved would be led toward repentance and the healing treatment that God alone can give, so that even those who have done wrong might be turned from their path and restored to health.

We encourage you to continue in faithful prayer, singing and praying to God in your heart with heedfulness whether you are at home or going about your day, trusting that He hears. Present things are temporary and afflictive, but salvation in Christ Jesus is with eternal glory. May the Lord keep you steadfast as you intercede, and may He grant to your loved one salvation, healing, and restoration according to His grace.
