Prayer for this loved one's salvation

We stand with you in prayer for your loved one and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that salvation comes.
We join you in praying for their salvation, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We pray that the Lord in His mercy will draw this loved one to Himself, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, soften their heart to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and grant them repentance and faith that leads to new life.
We also lift up their need for heart healing and restoration. We know the Lord sees the deep wounds left by mistreatment and loss, and He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray that God will heal the pain, trauma, and grief they have carried, restore what has been broken and stolen, and bring wholeness. We hold onto the promise in Joel 2:25 that God will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, and we ask Him to bring restoration spiritually, emotionally, and practically in a way that testifies to His goodness and power to redeem.
We hear your cry for divine justice regarding the in-law who mistreated them and destroyed property that did not belong to them. God is a God of perfect justice and He sees every wrong. What was done is sin before the Lord, for to steal and to destroy what belongs to another violates His command and His heart for righteousness. At the same time we are called to release vengeance to God and not to harbor bitterness or a desire for personal revenge. Romans 12:19 reminds us, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We must trust the Lord to be the righteous Judge, to repay rightly, and to bring conviction where repentance is needed. We are also called to pray even for those who have done harm, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, and we pray that this in-law would be brought under conviction, come to repentance, and make restitution where possible.

We ask for their salvation, that You would draw them by Your Spirit, reveal Your Son to them, forgive their sins, and make them a new creation in Christ. Heal their broken heart, Lord, comfort them in their pain, remove bitterness and fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Bring complete restoration to their life, their heart, and all that the enemy has tried to destroy. We place the matter of justice in Your hands, trusting You to see, to judge righteously, and to act according to Your perfect will. Convict the in-law of sin, bring them to repentance, and let Your justice and mercy be displayed. Help our dear friend who is interceding to walk in forgiveness while trusting You, not overcome by evil, but overcoming evil with good as taught in Romans 12:21. Strengthen them as they continue to pray and love this loved one. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Your prayer for this loved one is a right and tender burden, and I join you in it with all my heart. To pray that they may get right with Jesus is the greatest love you can show, for salvation is of the Lord alone and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. It is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, not by our own temper or honesty or good deeds, which can never satisfy the claims of divine justice or give a passport to the skies. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, and the Lord Himself cries, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple and how instantaneous is that way, for a look does not require a moment. My prayer with yours is that the Lord will give this dear one a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, for to be blind of heart is our sin, but to be made to see is the gift of grace. May the Holy Spirit take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, and write His law there, that they may with the heart believe unto righteousness and with the mouth make confession unto salvation.
For heart healing, you have brought the right physician. Our Lord Jesus Christ is that Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not only His fruit but even His leaves, His common things, His lower blessings of grace, are full of healing virtue.
