We lift you up before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of faith, trusting in His sovereign power and perfect will for your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have brought your fears and hopes to the Lord, and that is exactly where they belong. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is already at work in this situation, for He is the Great Physician who holds your life in His hands.
The Word of God assures us in Psalm 138:8, *"Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me; your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands."* This surgery is not outside of His knowledge or control. We pray that the hands of the surgeons and medical staff would be guided by His wisdom, that every decision made would be precise and free from error. May the procedure be successful, with no complications, and may the results bring peace and relief. We ask that anything removed from your body would indeed be benign, with no trace of disease or further concern, for our God is a God of restoration and wholeness.
We also lift up your parents, who are walking this path with you. The waiting and uncertainty can be a heavy burden, but we pray that the Lord would fill them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May they feel His presence tangibly as they support you, and may their hearts be steadied by the promise of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Let this season be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, not just to you but to all who witness His work in your life. If there is any fear or anxiety lingering in your heart, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* You are not alone in this—the Holy Spirit is with you, comforting and empowering you every step of the way.
We also encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John 16:33, *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* No matter the outcome, our Lord has already secured the ultimate victory, and He walks with you through every trial. We also lift up their parents, Lord. Comfort them as they wait and stand by their child’s side. Fill them with Your peace and assurance, knowing that You are in control. Let this time be a testament to Your faithfulness, drawing them all closer to You.
