Prayer for ### Sick

We join you in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace and we thank God for your marriage and for your faithful heart to seek prayer for him in the name of Jesus.

We are sorry to hear he is suffering with fever, body pain, headache and flu like symptoms and we ask the Lord to touch his body, ease his pain and restore his strength. We take comfort in knowing that our God is our healer and that He cares for every detail of our lives.

Scripture reminds us of His healing power and compassion, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We also cling to the promise But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also remember the encouragement in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this husband and for the love You have placed within this marriage. Lord we ask for Your healing hand upon him right now. Touch his body, rebuke this fever and pain, ease his headache and remove every flu like symptom. Grant him restful sleep, comfort and renewed strength. We ask You to guide any medical care he receives and give wisdom to those caring for him. Let Your peace rest upon him and upon his wife as they trust in You. We pray for complete restoration according to Your will, that he may rise again in health to serve You and love his family. We thank You Father that we can come boldly through Jesus who is our mediator and healer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to care for him with rest, fluids and appropriate medical attention as needed, trusting that God often works through these means while we look to Him as the ultimate source of healing. Keep trusting in the Lord and keep praying without ceasing, for He hears us and He is near to those who call upon Him.

We were sorry to read that ### is sick with fever, body pain, headache and flu like symptoms. It is hard to watch someone you love feel so miserable and not be able to take the discomfort away, and we are standing with you in prayer for him.

We are asking the Lord to bring comfort and healing, to ease his fever and pain, and to give you both peace and strength as you walk through these days. We are also praying for rest for you as you care for him, and for wisdom to know how best to help him.

Because fever with body aches and headache can change quickly, if he has not already been seen we encourage you to contact his doctor, clinic or urgent care for medical guidance alongside prayer. It can also help to let a trusted family member or friend know how you both are doing so you have support close by. We know these days can feel long when sleep is broken and he is not himself. Please know you are not alone and we continue to hold you both before the Lord.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon him. Ease his fever and pain, restore his strength day by day, and give his wife peace and wisdom as she cares for him. Guide those who care for him medically and draw you both close to Your comfort. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Its well that we pray for those who are sick and hurting and that we come together in prayer and worship. That our hearts might belong to God and to his Son and that we might never drift away from him. The fear of him. And his love. And that he might love and accept us and forgive us our sins. Thank you Father. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

Your request for your husband has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace. To see one so near and dear laid low with fever and pain of body and headache is a trial which rightly sends us at once to the great Physician.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing, even as the hem of His garment was touched and virtue went out of Him. We remember also how our Lord stood over Peter's wife's mother when she was taken with a great fever, and He rebuked the fever and it left her. What He did then He is able to do still, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and He who said I will never leave thee nor forsake thee will not forsake His people in their sickness. There may be a potent medicine in the great pharmacopoeia of Scripture, and you do well to search the Scriptures to discover what He hath said, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord our God, Thou art our Father and our Husband who nourishes and cherishes Thine own, and Thou hast promised never to leave nor forsake those who trust in Thee. Look in mercy upon Thy servant who is sick with fever and pain and headache and all the distress of this flu like illness. Lay Thy hand upon him as Thou didst upon the fevered one in Peter's house, and rebuke his fever. Grant him relief from pain, restore strength to his body, and give wisdom to those who care for him. Above all we pray that healing and pardon may be joined together in him, that as Thou forgivest iniquity Thou wouldst also cause the inhabitant not to say I am sick, and that this affliction may be sanctified to draw both husband and wife nearer to Christ. We submit all to Thy wise and loving will, asking that Thy will be done and that Thy name be glorified whether by healing or by sustaining grace. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to tell Him how sick your husband is, for His ears hear the whisper of the soul, and to rest upon His promise and His healing virtue. May the Lord comfort your heart and give you peace as you wait upon Him.
