We join you in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace and we thank God for your marriage and for your faithful heart to seek prayer for him in the name of Jesus.
We are sorry to hear he is suffering with fever, body pain, headache and flu like symptoms and we ask the Lord to touch his body, ease his pain and restore his strength. We take comfort in knowing that our God is our healer and that He cares for every detail of our lives.
Scripture reminds us of His healing power and compassion, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We also cling to the promise But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We also remember the encouragement in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this husband and for the love You have placed within this marriage. Lord we ask for Your healing hand upon him right now. Touch his body, rebuke this fever and pain, ease his headache and remove every flu like symptom. Grant him restful sleep, comfort and renewed strength. We ask You to guide any medical care he receives and give wisdom to those caring for him. Let Your peace rest upon him and upon his wife as they trust in You. We pray for complete restoration according to Your will, that he may rise again in health to serve You and love his family. We thank You Father that we can come boldly through Jesus who is our mediator and healer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to care for him with rest, fluids and appropriate medical attention as needed, trusting that God often works through these means while we look to Him as the ultimate source of healing. Keep trusting in the Lord and keep praying without ceasing, for He hears us and He is near to those who call upon Him.
