Prayer for Divine Healing

I'm feeling feverish. My head hurts on one side, my eyes are irritating and teary. Last time I had a fever like this, I fainted a few times and the pain was unbearable and I wasn't able to do anything for over a week. I have some important events I must attend day after tomorrow. Please pray for me to be perfectly healed in Jesus' Name.

We hear your cry for healing and we join with you together in prayer, asking our Father for His mercy and restoring touch upon your body in Jesus' name.

We know how difficult it is to feel feverish and in pain, especially when you remember how severe it was last time and you have important events ahead. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is by His name we have access to the Father and it is by His wounds we are healed. As it is written, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Our God is the Lord who heals us. He says, I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 and also, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 We cling to His promise that says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with fever, with pain on one side of the head, and with irritating and teary eyes. Lord, You see the discomfort and the worry about fainting and being unable to function again, and You see the importance of the events coming day after tomorrow. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this body right now. We rebuke this fever and pain in Jesus' name and ask that You would bring perfect healing, restore strength, clear the eyes, ease the head, and bring peace to the body. Let this fever break and let health be fully restored so that Your name may be glorified. Grant wisdom, rest, and comfort, and let Your peace guard the heart and mind. We ask that You would grant a swift and complete recovery, and that You would be present at those important events, giving energy and clarity. We trust in Your love and Your power to heal. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to rest as much as you can, to drink plenty of fluids, and to seek wise medical care promptly if the fever continues or if you feel faint again, for God often works through the wisdom and care of physicians and we are to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us. We also encourage you to continue to trust Him and not be anxious, for He cares for you. As Scripture says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We also remember the word, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15 If you are able, reach out to trusted believers near you to pray with you in person as well.

We are standing with you, believing for the Lord to restore you quickly and to give you strength for the days ahead. May you feel His presence and healing power even now.

We can hear how heavy this feels, especially with what you went through last time. Feeling feverish with pain on one side of your head and your eyes irritated and teary would be hard enough, but carrying the memory of fainting and being unable to function for over a week makes it understandably more frightening, and with important events coming up day after tomorrow we know you are longing to be well.

We are joining you in prayer for healing and for peace while you wait, and we also want to gently encourage you to get checked promptly by a doctor or urgent care clinic, alongside prayer not instead of it. Because you have fainted before with similar symptoms, please let someone close to you know how you are feeling so you are not alone, and follow the clinician's guidance about rest and next steps.

We know you want to be perfectly well for what is ahead, and we are asking God to be near you, to give wisdom to those caring for you, and to bring relief in the way He knows is best.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the fever, the pain and the worry about fainting again. Please bring comfort, guide the care they receive, and grant healing according to Your mercy and will. Give rest tonight and strength for each step ahead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry of pain has been heard and brought before the Lord with tender concern. To be feverish and in pain, with the head aching on one side and the eyes irritated and full of tears, is a sore trial, and the remembrance of fainting and of days laid aside before makes the present burden heavier still, especially with important duties set before you on the day after tomorrow.

Take to your heart that precious word which is the stay of the tried and afflicted, He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Though the body be weakened and pain press hard, the Divine Presence does not depart. We may have to suffer great pain and the earthly physician may be unable at once to relieve us, but God's promise still avails us. He has not forgotten you in the chamber of sickness, for He has said, I will not leave you orphans, I will come unto you.

Remember also how the Lord Jesus dealt with fever. When Peter's wife's mother lay sick of a great fever, they told Jesus of her, and at once He went into the room and stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. The same Divine power that flowed from Him then is present still. None shall say to the healing flood of His love, Up to here can you go and no further. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His greater works but even as it were in the leaves of the tree, for the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings. Seek first His pardoning grace and rest your soul wholly upon His atonement, and then bring your body also to His merciful hand.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, our Divine Healer, look in compassion upon this suffering one. Thou knowest the fever, the pain of the head, the irritation of the eyes, the weakness that has before caused fainting, and the anxiety concerning the days to come. Lay Thy hand upon Thy servant as Thou didst of old, and rebuke the fever. If it be Thy gracious will, restore perfect health and strength quickly, that with a sound body this loved one may go up to the duties set before him. Grant relief from pain, cool the burning, clear the eyes, and establish the frame. And whether Thou art pleased to lift the affliction at once or to sustain through a little season, let Thy presence be sweetly felt, let faith be strengthened, and let patience have its perfect work. Help to use all lawful means with prudence and to cast the whole care upon Thee who carest for Thy children, even for the little things that concern them. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.

Be encouraged to rest as you are able, to seek needful help from those who can care for the body, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases and seek a physician, and this is not contrary to faith but consistent with it, while your chief trust remains in the Lord. Search the Scriptures and let this promise sweeten the bitter waters, that He will never leave you. Cast your anxiety upon Him, and may His peace keep your heart and mind until strength return.
