We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude for His provision and wisdom, lifting up this request with faith that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will. Father, we ask that You open the right doors for the sale of this bass guitar. May it find its way to someone who will truly benefit from it, whether for ministry, personal growth, or joy in worship. We pray that the transaction would be fair, timely, and honoring to You, reflecting Your generosity and goodness.
The Bible reminds us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We ask in faith, trusting that You are working even in the details of this sale. We also recognize that all we have belongs to You, and we surrender this process into Your hands, asking that it be used for Your glory.
If there is any hesitation or fear in this matter, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your timing. May this sale be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a blessing to both the seller and the buyer.
Lord, we also take a moment to acknowledge that our ultimate treasure is not in earthly possessions but in You. Help us to hold loosely to the things of this world, using them wisely and generously for Your kingdom. If there is any selfishness or idolatry attached to this guitar or its sale, we repent and ask for Your cleansing. May our hearts be aligned with Your will, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Rejoice greatly in the Lord Himself, and let your soul be joyful in your God; then, whether the instrument sells soon or late, your peace shall flow like a river. The Lord has dealt well with His servants, and He will not fail you now.
Wait upon Him with good judgment, knowing that our Shepherd sees the end from the beginning. If it is for your benefit and His glory, He will send the right buyer at the right price, one who will truly profit from it. You seek prayer that you might sell your bass guitar soon at a good price to someone who would greatly benefit. But consider: what is a good price? Do you mean a just one, or one that brings you more profit than the thing is worth? Injustice is judged not by the measure of the things taken, but by the intention of those who commit the robbery. Even in small bargains, to strive to pay less than the value, or to take more, is no different from housebreaking. Therefore, if you desire a good price, desire first a good heart. Sell it for what is fair, and be not anxious to gain beyond what is right.
But more than this, why cling to the price at all? The Lord said, Except a man sell all, he cannot buy the pearl of great price. Is it not better to use the sale for almsgiving, laying up a treasure in heaven, where no thief approaches nor moth corrupts? What is a bass guitar but a bit of wood and string that perishes, while alms endure forever? Let the one who buys it benefit, but you, by giving from the sale to the poor, will benefit far more than any earthly transaction could provide.
Do not set your heart on this sale as if your life depended on it. Think on hell, and the nothingness of all present things. At the sight of a dead body carried through the market, remember that all such possessions must one day be left behind. Sober your mind, then, and turn your prayer rather to this: that God would grant you detachment, a generous spirit, and wisdom to use all things for His glory.
I will pray, but not merely that you sell the instrument. I will pray that in selling it you do so with justice, that you be delivered from covetousness, that the one who receives it may genuinely benefit, and that you yourself may gain the true riches. For this is far more needful than the sale of any earthly thing.
