We join you in lifting up your loved one before the throne of grace and we are deeply sorry to hear about her fall and the fracture near her shoulder. We understand how painful and worrying it is when someone dear to us cannot lift or move her arm, and we stand with you in faith for her complete restoration.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who both forgives and heals. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise of Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. It is indeed by the blood of Jesus that we have forgiveness and access to the Father, and by His wounds that healing is made possible.
We also rejoice that you asked for God’s forgiveness, for we all need His mercy. 1 John 1:9 assures us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Through faith in Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and we are made clean before God, not because of our own goodness but because of His sacrifice on the cross. James 5:14-15 also encourages us, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through His blood. Lord, we confess our sins and faults before You and ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing for us and for our dear loved one who is suffering. Wash us and make us clean according to Your mercy.
We lift up this precious one who has fractured her shoulder and cannot move her arm. Lord, You see her pain, her limitation, and her need. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her body, mend the broken bone, reduce any inflammation and pain, and restore full strength and mobility to her arm and shoulder. Guide the hands of the doctors and those caring for her, and let Your healing power work within her so that she may lift and use her arm normally again according to Your will. Strengthen her faith and comfort her heart, and strengthen all those who love and care for her. Let this trial draw you all closer to You and bring glory to Your name.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, believing that You hear us and that Your will is perfect and loving. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to keep praying in Jesus name, and to diligently follow the medical care provided while trusting God as the ultimate healer. He is near to you in this time of need and He cares deeply for you and for her.
