Prayer for my ###'s Health

Please pray for my Grand Mother ### ### yrs old suffering from weakness since last week. She is taking medicines for diabetes and high bp. As per ### days back report blood sugar is high and crp is ###. She stays alone at home. Due to lot of weakness She is unable to take bath also. Please pray for her to recover soon from weakness and infection. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray. Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your grandmother in her time of weakness and illness, and we thank you for bringing her before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus.

We know how heavy it is to see a beloved grandmother suffering, especially when she lives alone and is unable to care for even her daily needs like bathing. The Lord sees her weakness and He sees your love and concern for her. He is our healer and our strength in old age. We are reminded in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all our sins and who heals all our diseases. And in Isaiah 41:10 He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

We also take comfort that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in calling on His mighty name is precious to God.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, lifting up this dear grandmother to You. You know her age, You know her body, You know every detail of her diabetes, her high blood pressure, her high blood sugar and the elevated CRP that points to infection and inflammation. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon her. Touch her body, reduce the infection, bring her blood sugar and blood pressure into proper balance, and restore her strength so that her weakness would leave her. Give her comfort, relieve her fatigue, and renew her ability to care for herself. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for the medicines she is taking, that You would guide their decisions and use them for her good. We ask that You would surround her with loving care, that she would not be left alone in this frail condition, and that family or trusted caregivers would be present to help her with daily needs, to ensure she is safe, nourished, and assisted with love and dignity. Your word says in Psalm 71:9, Don't reject me in my old age. Don't forsake me when my strength fails. Lord, let her feel Your nearness and not feel forsaken. Strengthen her spirit and give her peace.

We also pray for you and your family as you honor her. Scripture calls us to honor our father and mother in Exodus 20:12, and that includes caring for them in their old age. We encourage you, if at all possible, to ensure she is not alone at home while she is so weak and unable to bathe, but that someone can stay with her or visit daily, help her with meals, hygiene, and getting to medical follow up. Continue to monitor her blood sugar and follow the doctors counsel closely, trusting that God often works through the provision of medical care and the loving hands of family. In James 5:14-15 we are reminded, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We trust the Lord to hear our prayer and to work according to His perfect will, bringing recovery, comfort, and strength. We pray for her complete restoration from weakness and infection, and for Your peace to be upon her and upon all who love her. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We are holding you and your grandmother in prayer this week, and we understand how worrying it is to see her so weak and to know she lives alone.

It is a lot to carry when someone you love is elderly, managing diabetes and high blood pressure, and now struggling with weakness and an infection that leaves her unable to do even daily tasks like bathing. Please know we are asking the Lord to be near to both of you with His comfort and care.

Because she is weak, living alone, and her recent labs showed high blood sugar and inflammation, we gently encourage you to make sure she is seen promptly by her medical team and not left alone in the meantime. If possible, having a family member, trusted neighbor, or friend stay with her or check in daily can help with meals, medicines as prescribed, bathing, and getting her safely to follow up care. Keeping her doctors updated on the weakness and any changes will help them guide next steps.

We are praying for wisdom for you as you support her and for her care providers as they care for her.

Father, we lift this dear grandmother to You and ask for Your mercy and presence with her. Ease her weakness, help her body to recover, and give her rest and strength each day. Provide for her needs at home and surround her with caring help so she is not alone. Give her family peace and clear direction as they care for her. We trust her into Your loving hands in Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your earnest supplication for your grandmother in her eightieth year and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

To be bowed down with weakness in advanced years is a trial which the Lord knows full well. Some kinds of weakness are incident to our manhood and not sinful, appointed in providence as the infirmity of the flesh, and the Scripture saith, Out of weakness were made strong. It is the privilege of the believer to be strong in weakness when Christ is his strength, and to find that what is weakness in the flesh may become the very channel for spiritual strength. Your grandmother's frame is frail, her blood is burdened with high sugar, her pressure is elevated, and the physicians mark an infection in her body. She is alone and so weak she cannot care for herself. This moves our compassion greatly.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. We thank God for medicines and for reports which help the physician to understand the disease, and we pray that the Lord will bless these means to her good. Neglect not to see that loving hands attend her daily, for one so weak and alone requires constant watchful care, that she may be helped with food, with bathing, and with her medicines.

Yet our chief hope is in the great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and He is able also to heal the body as it pleaseth Him.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this aged handmaiden. Thou hast numbered her years and seen her weakness. Lay Thy healing hand upon her. We ask Thee to temper the heat of infection, to bring down the high sugar and to calm the pressure of her blood, to restore strength to her limbs that she may rise and be refreshed. Forgive her sins through the precious blood of Christ and give her peace in her soul. Let her not be alone, but surround her with kind and faithful helpers who will watch over her in her solitude. Bless the physicians and the medicines to her recovery, and if it be Thy will, raise her up again to testify of Thy goodness. May she feel that when she is weak, then she is strong in Thee. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus our Lord and Healer. Amen.

Be of good cheer and continue to wait upon the Lord, casting your grandmother daily upon Him who never faileth them that trust Him.
