Prayer for Righteous Decision

Disciple of Prayer
Lord I pray in the name of Jesus for a righteous decision, you know the battles and adversity I have had to face. I pray for my daughter and for her to remain steadfast in her faith and my love for her, the enemy seeks to separate me from my child with lies I pray your love and grace is sufficient. Heavenly father I pray for your healing properties over my body and ###, Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest prayer for righteous decisions, healing, and protection over your family. Father God, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your presence, and we boldly come before You today, interceding on behalf of this parent and child.

Lord, we recognize the battles and adversity this family has faced, and we rebuke the enemy’s schemes to separate them through lies and division. The Word declares that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in agreement with this truth, declaring that the enemy’s plans will not succeed. Father, we pray for a hedge of protection around this family, that they would be shielded from the fiery darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). Strengthen their bond, Lord, and let Your love be the foundation that holds them together.

We lift up this daughter to You, asking that You would draw her closer to Your heart. May she remain steadfast in her faith, rooted and grounded in Your Word (Colossians 2:7). Guard her heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, and let her find her identity and worth in Christ alone. Father, we pray that she would walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life, and that she would be a light in this dark world.

For this parent, we ask for Your healing touch over their body. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew (Jeremiah 30:17). We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we pray for complete wholeness in every area of their life. Give them strength and endurance to press on, knowing that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment in making righteous decisions. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach (James 1:5). We pray that You would guide every step and every choice, that Your will would be done in this family’s life. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may be trying to take root. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this family will walk in the abundance of God’s love, joy, and peace. We pray that they would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9), and that they would live lives worthy of You, Lord, pleasing You in every way (Colossians 1:10).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promises. May this family continue to grow in their relationship with You, and may they experience the fullness of Your blessings. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have the victory. Amen.

We hear the weight in your words, the battles you’ve already faced, the ache when lies try to come between you and your daughter, and your deep desire for God’s righteous direction and healing. It’s clear your love for her is fierce and anchored in Christ, and that alone is a gift from God. Even when the enemy whispers separation, the Holy Spirit speaks a stronger word of connection in you.

As you wait for clarity on the decision before you, one simple, unhurried thing you can do is this: sit with a blank page and write down two or three paths you’re considering, then quietly invite the Holy Spirit to give you a deeper peace about one of them over the coming days. You don’t have to force an answer; His righteousness often settles gently when we release the pressure.

And for your daughter, sometimes a small, ordinary gesture can drown out lies with truth. Perhaps share a memory of when her faith first stirred, or put on a hymn you both love. Such moments remind her, and you, that the enemy cannot undo what God has joined in love.

Let’s pray through this together.

Father, thank You for seeing every battle this parent has walked through. In Jesus’ name, silence every lie that would fracture this bond with their daughter. Let truth ring louder, and let love hold firm. Grant a calm, clear sense of Your righteous path for the decision ahead, and pour out Your healing over their body and over, restore and sustain in the ways only You can. Cover this family in Your protection, and let them feel the steady presence of the Holy Spirit each day. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are weary of the battle, and I can feel it in your words. The long friction of conflict, the dread that some lie might pry your child away from you, this is a weight that presses the heart flat. You have asked that a righteous decision be made, and you have named the real wound beneath it all: a fear that the enemy would use falsehood to undo the knot that God has tied between a parent and a child.

But look at what you have done, even in speaking that fear aloud. You have brought it straight to the Lord Jesus. You did not first compile proofs of your innocence or craft the perfect rebuttal. No, you lifted your eyes and said, “You know the battles. Your grace is sufficient.” That is no small faith. A man sinking in deep water does not make speeches; he cries, “Lord, save me,” and the same hand that caught Peter is stretched out for you. The Savior who would not let the waves swallow a disciple of little faith will not let lies swallow you or your daughter. He who is the Truth does not stand idly by while falsehood tries to tear a family apart. The very fact that you have laid this at His feet tells me the Spirit is at work in you, keeping you near the only One who can untangle what the enemy has knotted.

You wonder whether love can hold when the adversary is whispering poison. It can, and it will, not because your love is flawless, but because Christ’s love for His own is the great anchor. Her faith, you have prayed for her steadfastness. And what is the secret of steadfastness? It is not a tight grip we maintain by sheer effort; it is being held. We are made partakers of Christ Himself, not just of His gifts. That means when her grip weakens, His grip does not. The good Shepherd has His eye upon that lamb, and He is more jealous for her than you could ever be. The enemy may spread a net, but the Shepherd carries a staff. The lies may be loud for a season, but the voice of Jesus will outlast them, and He calls His own sheep by name. Rest in this: the Lord who began a good work in her will not abandon it halfway.

As for your body, you have asked for the healing leaves of that Tree which grows on both sides of the river in glory. The Tree of Life is not locked away as it was when Adam was shut out of Eden. The way is open. The leaves are for the healing of the nations, and that healing streams down now into the aching limbs and weary frames of those who are still in the land of warfare. There is no pain too stubborn for that remedy. Christ our Physician does not merely prescribe; He touches. He who forgave the paralytic and then told him to walk is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your iniquity is forgiven, and your diseases are in the hands of One who neither slumbers nor makes mistakes. Ask boldly. Expect kindly. He does not grow weary of our coming.

I want you to notice something else. You are afraid the enemy will separate you from your child. But consider: it is the Lord who sets the solitary in families. It is He who knit your heart to hers. That bond, though it may be tested, is precious to Him. The adversary is a squatter, not a landlord. He has no deeds of ownership over your household. When he rushes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him. The righteous decision you seek is not a gamble; it flows from the throne of Him who judges righteously and who delights in the prayers of His people.

So do not let the black-edged envelope of this trial make you forget that the message inside is still sealed with the blood of the covenant. The handwriting may be fierce for a moment, but the Writer has already composed the final sentence, and it ends in peace. You are not holding on by a thread. You are held by the everlasting arms. The Lord will bring it to pass. He will not fail you, and He will not fail your daughter.

---

Lord Jesus, we do not come to You with tidy feelings and measured words. We come raw and needy, because You receive such as we are. Look upon this dear one who is worn with the conflict and who fears for a beloved child. You see how the liar spins his webs. You see how the body groans. Speak peace. Let the truth break through every falsehood like sunlight through a rent curtain. Keep that daughter rooted and grounded in faith. And would You stretch out Your healing hand now, touch the place that aches, the hidden weakness, the fear that knots the stomach, and let the leaves of the Tree of Life do their quiet, restoring work. Commend them to Your Father’s keeping, and give them to know, deep in the bones, that nothing can separate them from Your love or from the good purpose You have set upon their household. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to lift up your heart before the throne of grace, asking our Father to guide you in making a righteous decision, to shield your daughter and keep her rooted in faith, and to guard the bond between you—knowing that the enemy seeks to sow division with lies. We have prayed for the sufficiency of God’s love and grace to surround you, and for His healing touch to restore your body.

If the Lord has answered this cry of your heart in ways you can see, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report—your testimony strengthens the faith of others. If the answer is still unfolding or not yet clear, please know we are still here to stand with you. You may post this request again so we can continue interceding on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you richly as you press into Him, trusting in His perfect timing and unfailing love. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
