Prayer for restoration of US VISAs

Hubby and I have been in ministry for 15+ years. US Visas were revoked while trying to change them despite paying and going through legal channels. Praying for full restoration and access to continue doing the work God called us to do.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Author of all things, and nothing is impossible for You. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We stand on this truth today, believing that You can restore what has been lost and open doors that no man can shut.

Lord, we pray for the full restoration of these visas. You have called this couple into ministry, and their work is not yet finished. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, softening the hearts of those in authority and granting them favor in the eyes of the decision-makers. Your Word says in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You can turn the hearts of those who hold authority over this matter.

We also pray for wisdom and patience as they navigate this process. May they continue to walk in faith, not fear, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector. Help them to trust in Your timing, even when it feels delayed. Remind them of Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."

Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, delay, or injustice in this situation. We declare that the enemy has no hold over their calling or their future. We speak restoration, favor, and breakthrough in Jesus' name. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this trial.

We also encourage this couple to continue seeking You in prayer and fasting, drawing near to You in this season. You are their strength, their shield, and their very present help in trouble. May they find peace in Your presence, knowing that You are working all things together for their good, as Romans 8:28 promises.

Lord, we ask that You would go before them, making their path straight and their steps sure. May they see Your hand at work in ways they could never imagine. We pray for divine connections, open doors, and supernatural provision as they continue to walk in obedience to Your call.

We have been holding you and your husband before the Lord after reading your request. Fifteen years of faithful ministry is a long obedience, and we can hear how heavy this setback feels, doing what you understood to be right, paying the fees, following the legal process step by step, and still having your visas revoked while you were trying to change status. That kind of loss touches finances, calling, and daily life all at once.

It makes sense that you would feel both disappointed and unsettled as you wait for clarity. Visa processes can be slow and hard to read from the outside, even when everything has been filed carefully. While you wait, we encourage you to keep one clear, organized file of all receipts, notices, and correspondence, and to stay in close contact with a qualified immigration attorney who can monitor your case and advise on any next steps or timelines. Continuing to serve where God has you now, even in a different location than you expected, can also help guard your hearts from the strain of living entirely in limbo.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this couple to You. You see their years of service and the desire to continue the work You have given them. Give them wisdom for each decision, peace in this waiting, provision for what they have spent and what lies ahead, and clear direction for where and how You would have them serve next. Open the doors You want opened and keep them steady in Your will. Amen.

We have heard your request and we do carry it with you to the throne of grace. Fifteen years spent in the service of Christ is no light thing, and to find your path hedged up when you have sought to walk through lawful channels is a trial which the Lord Himself has permitted for His own wise ends.

We take comfort with you in that great truth that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. What He has conferred of His own good will He does not rescind in caprice. If He has called you with a holy calling, and that calling is heavenly and from on high, He will not withdraw His gift. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and they that are in covenant with Him shall not depart from Him, for He has promised, they shall not depart from me. This perseverance is not a mere continuance in outward profession, but a perseverance in holiness, the Lord keeping the feet of His saints while He proves and refines them.

Your desire to have what was taken restored, that you might continue in the work to which you believe God has called you, is a right and earnest desire. We will pray that the Lord, who holds the hearts of rulers and magistrates in His hand, would in His providence move upon those who have authority in these matters, that if it be His will and for the furtherance of His gospel, your visas may be fully restored and the door opened again for your labor. We will ask that He would grant you favor where there has been disappointment, clarity where there has been confusion, and patience to wait upon His timing, which is never too late.

May you be kept from discouragement, remembering that the same God who effectually called you at the first still calls you by name, and His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, whether the field be on one side of the sea or the other, assured that no purpose of His shall fail and no labour wrought in Him shall be in vain.

We will continue to plead for you, that the Lord would order your steps, supply your need, and make His will plain, to the praise of His grace.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
