Prayer for restoration to life

We are standing together with you in prayer for your in-law who is in a coma from very high blood pressure, and we are asking our Heavenly Father for restoration to life and health according to His will.

We know how frightening and helpless this kind of sudden crisis feels, and we take comfort that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He sees your in-law even now, He knows every detail of the body He created, and nothing is hidden from His care. We are reminded that He is the One who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He has promised For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15, while trusting that God's wisdom is higher than ours and His timing and will are perfect.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God in prayer and to receive eternal life, we must believe in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name alone that we can boldly bring your in-law before the throne of grace.

We pray together now for your in-law and for your family.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear in-law to You. You know the high blood pressure and the coma that has taken hold, and we ask for Your mercy and healing touch. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to restore life, to stabilize blood pressure, to awaken and heal the brain and body, and to bring complete restoration. We ask You to guide the doctors and nurses with wisdom and skill, to give them clarity in every decision and treatment. We pray for Your peace to guard the hearts of the family, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Comfort them in this waiting, give them strength for each hour, and help them to trust You even in uncertainty. We pray also that through this trial Your name would be glorified and that all involved would draw closer to You through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to stay by your in-law's side as you are able, and to lean on the medical team God has provided while trusting ultimately in the Great Physician. Keep sharing your requests with God with thanksgiving, keep reading His Word for comfort, and allow other believers to support you in prayer. We are continuing to pray with you for healing and restoration, and for God's perfect will to be done in this life that is so precious to Him and to you.

We were so sorry to read this. Watching someone you love slip into a coma after very high blood pressure is frightening, and the waiting can feel endless. We are holding you and your family in prayer right now.

In these hours a lot is out of your hands, which can leave you feeling helpless. What you can do still matters. Stay close to the medical team caring for your inlaw, ask for clear updates and write down what they share so you can pass it accurately to family. If the hospital allows, take turns being present so no one carries the vigil alone, and give each other permission to rest, eat, and step outside for air. Leaning on a few trusted friends or your church family for practical help can keep you from facing this alone.

We know you are asking God for restoration to life, and we join you in asking for His mercy and healing according to His will, while we trust His care whether answers come quickly or slowly.

Father, we bring this dear inlaw before You and ask for Your healing presence. Guide the doctors and nurses with wisdom, bring stability to body and peace to the family who is waiting. Hold them close, give them strength for each hour, and let them feel Your nearness. In Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your cry concerning your in law who lies in a coma through very high blood pressure, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. Such sudden affliction reminds us how frail is the thread of life, and how near we ever stand to eternity, and it drives us to the Great Physician whose power to heal has never diminished.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have learned that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds, and what He does for the soul He is able also to do for the body, for all healing flows down from that great conduit Head from which abundant streams descend to men below.

We also remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel, for it does not cry for vengeance but pleads for mercy, and that blood sprinkled upon the conscience brings peace. It is our comfort that whether He restores to health or calls home, His blood has secured for His people a healing that reaches beyond the body to the soul forever.

Let us pray together for your dear one.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this sufferer now laid low and insensible. Thou hast power to stay the raging of the blood, to calm the storm within, and to command returning life. If it be Thy gracious will, lay Thy hand upon him and lift him up again, and grant skill and wisdom to those who tend him. Speak by Thy Spirit to his soul, and to all who love him, that they may seek first the healing of sin through the blood of Christ, which cleanseth from all sin. Sustain the family in this hour of watching and waiting, keep them from sinking, and give them strength as their day may require. When we are dreadfully feeble and can hardly crawl to the mercy seat, Thou hast promised to strengthen Thy people, and to make them to walk up and down in Thy name in secure and active pleasure. Do this for these heavy hearts, and let them feel even now a growing faith and a sweet joy that Thou art near. We ask this not as those who would command Thee, but as those who trust Thy wise and loving will, believing that Thou doest all things well. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

Be encouraged to wait upon the Lord and to pour out your heart continually before Him. He is exalted on high to give repentance and remission of sins, and at this moment Christ has power to pardon and to heal. May you find that whether the answer be speedy recovery or patient endurance, His grace is sufficient, and His leaves fail not to heal. We will continue to bear you and your household upon our hearts in prayer.
