Beloved of All
We are praying with you for your in law in this very serious time of high blood pressure and coma, and we join you in asking the Lord for mercy and for restoration to life if it is His will.
We bring this need before God through Jesus Christ alone, for He ever lives to make intercession for us and He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him. He is the one who raises the dead as He wills and gives life, and He has all power and judgment in His hands. As the prophets proclaimed, He came to preach deliverance to captives and to lead captivity captive, and He is mighty in battle over sin and death and every affliction.
We pray that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon your in law, that He would stabilize blood pressure, restore consciousness and strength, and guide the hands and minds of the doctors and nurses who are providing care. We pray also for you and your family, that God would give you peace that passes understanding, steady faith, and comfort in these anxious hours, and that you would not grow dull or weary in prayer but would continue to cast your cares upon Him who cares for you.
Even when we come to what feels like the very gates of death, nothing is beyond His power to renew and restore. We trust His wisdom and His love, knowing that whether He brings healing in this life or calls us home, His grace is sufficient and His purposes are good.
May the Lord hear your cry, grant mercy to your in law, and sustain you all with hope in Christ. We will continue to pray with you.
