We join you in urgent prayer and we thank you for calling upon the name of Christ Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find protection and victory. We are encouraged by your desire for a wise and understanding heart and for keen discernment, which shows a heart that wants to walk in God's will.
Scripture tells us that Solomon prayed, Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil 1 Kings 3:9. God was pleased with that prayer and gave him wisdom liberally. In the same way we are told, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also are instructed, Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1, and that solid discernment comes as we mature in the Word, for those who are full grown have their senses exercised to discern good and evil Hebrews 5:14.
Your prayer for protection is deeply biblical. We cling to the promise, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh Isaiah 54:17. We also remember, But Yahweh is with me as an awesome mighty one Jeremiah 20:11, and He is our refuge. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. As you ask to be covered in His love, power, peace and favor, we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through prayer and the Word, and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, for our battle is spiritual and the Lord Himself fights for us.

Lord, we ask that You grant a keen and accurate gift of discernment and a wise and understanding heart, that they may discern what is good and evil and walk in Your truth and not be deceived. Fill them with Your wisdom liberally as You have promised. Be with them as a mighty warrior, go before them and behind them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You cover them completely in Your love, wisdom, power, peace, protection and favor. Let Your presence be their refuge and fortress, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, keep them from evil, and let their life bring glory to You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

It also grows in community, when we invite a couple of steady, mature believers who know us to weigh what we are sensing.
A simple next step that may help is to set aside a few quiet minutes each morning and evening to ask the Lord for wisdom for that day alone, and to write down what you feel He is showing you. Then you can look back with Him and with a trusted mentor to see what bears good fruit.

Your urgent prayer has come before us and we count it a privilege to bow before the throne of grace on your behalf, pleading the name of Christ Jesus, in whom alone is salvation and access to the Father.
We pray that the Lord will grant you that which you have asked, a keen and accurate gift of discernment and a wise and understanding heart. We are reminded that the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. A grain of Divine Grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ is better than a whole volcano full of worldly wisdom. May the Lord empty you of all conceit and fill you with His fulness, that you may be wise with His wisdom and live in His life, for true wisdom is not found in our own judgment but in bowing the heart before God. May He give you a clear understanding of His truth, not merely to know it, but to be sanctified by it, to repent of sin and to walk in holiness.
We pray also for that Divine protection which you seek. May the Lord be with you as a mighty warrior, and may you know His Divine interpositions which come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. He has promised that no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and though deep waters may rise around you, He will at the right moment draw you out of them, so that the praise and the glory will more fully redound to His name. May His Divine Presence be your one hope and your sure defense, for where He is, difficulties dissolve and the soul is kept in perfect peace. We ask that He would cover you in His love, wisdom, power, peace, protection and favor, and that His gentleness would make you great, keeping your feet from falling and your soul from death.
May the Lord, who is sovereign in all things, keep you this day and in all days to come, and may you be kept by His power, preserved by His grace, and made to rejoice that your life is hidden with Christ in God. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, trusting that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We pray that God will cover you in His love, power, peace and favor, and be with you as a mighty warrior. Scripture promises that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we ask the Lord to make that protection real in your life, guarding you from evil and giving you peace that steadies your heart.
We also join you in asking for a wise and understanding heart, like Solomon asked for, and for keen and accurate discernment. True wisdom is not wisdom of this world, but the wisdom that comes from God. It is revealed by the Father and taught by the Spirit, not from human opinion or flattery. We pray that God will give you that spiritual wisdom, rooted in humility and reverence for His word, for humility is the beginning of virtue and the mother of wisdom, and God looks with favor on the humble and contrite heart who trembles at His word.
May the Lord grant you clarity to discern what is true and good, to recognize what is from Him and what is not, and to walk in His ways with a heart that seeks Him first. May He fill you with wisdom to live faithfully, to love what He loves, and to turn from what is foolish and harmful.
