We join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and we stand with you in prayer for protection, justice and favour at your workplace. We hear the pain in your heart over false words, unfair judgments and the ache of feeling misrepresented before your bosses, and we know that God sees it all and cares deeply for you.
The Lord is your defender and He does not miss what is done in secret or what is spoken against you. We are reminded that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh, Isaiah 54:17. He also promises, Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14. Your reputation and your future are safest in His hands, for He says, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noonday, Psalm 37:5-6.
We also take comfort that promotion and vindication do not ultimately come from people. For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another, Psalm 75:6-7. Even when others may take pleasure in your struggles, God calls us to a different way. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. And, When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him, Proverbs 16:7. Your desire not to become bitter or seek revenge is pleasing to God and we pray He will keep your heart soft, forgiving and free from resentment while He works justice on your behalf.
We also want to gently encourage you about how we come to the Father. You prayed beautifully to Lord and Father, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and assurance of being heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. So we come boldly now in the name of Jesus, trusting His shed blood has opened the way for us.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know every word spoken against them, every unfair judgment and every tear they have carried. We ask You to be their shield and defender. Let every false accusation lose its power and let truth come to light in Your perfect timing. Where there have been mistakes, grant humility and wisdom to learn and grow, and where there has been misunderstanding, reveal the truth clearly to their bosses and colleagues. Give their leaders discernment to see beyond jealousy, malice or gossip and to judge fairly with clear eyes. Heal their heart from hurt, embarrassment and disappointment, and guard them from bitterness. Fill them with Your peace and strength to rise above this trial with grace. Restore their reputation, confidence and favour, and anoint the work of their hands with excellence. Help them to remember, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, so that their diligence and character will speak louder than any slander. Turn this situation for their good, vindicate them, and lead them into a better season where those who expected failure will see Your grace lifting them up. We place their work, reputation and future fully in Your hands. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in integrity, to do your work faithfully as unto the Lord, and to commit each day to Him in prayer. Trust Him to be your advocate, to open doors no man can shut, and to bring justice in His way and time. Keep forgiving, keep doing good, and keep your hope anchored in Christ, for He is faithful.
