We thank you for sharing this request with us and we rejoice that you closed it in the wonderful name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and peace with God.
We join with you in seeking the Lord for peace in your home, for He is the God of peace and longs to dwell in the midst of His people. Scripture tells us in Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in John 14:27 Jesus says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. We also cling to Isaiah 26:3 which promises You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. And Colossians 3:15 reminds us to let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. We encourage you to make your home a place of prayer, thanksgiving, forgiveness and gentle words, turning away from strife and inviting the Lord's presence daily through His Word.
We also lift up your work to the Lord with you. God honors diligent and faithful labor when it is done for His glory. Colossians 3:23 teaches Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we commit our work to Him, He establishes our steps, as Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We encourage you to work with integrity, excellence and humility, trusting God for strength and wisdom each day and resting in the knowledge that your ultimate reward comes from Him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we thank You for our brother or sister who desires Your peace and Your help. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon this home. Let every anxious thought, every conflict and every burden be calmed by Your presence. Rule in each heart there and let love, patience and understanding abound. Guard this home from division and fill it with Your joy. We also ask for Your hand upon the work that has been entrusted to this dear one. Grant wisdom, skill, favor and endurance to do an excellent job. Help all tasks to be done heartily as unto You and let the fruit of this labor be a testimony to Your goodness. May Your will be done in both home and work, and may You be glorified in all things. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

It helps to tend to the whole picture, rest, honest conversation, and time with the Lord, and to give space for each person to feel heard. One simple step that helps many people is to pause for a brief prayer or a quiet breath before responding when tension rises at home, and to choose one calm time this week to talk through any ongoing friction when everyone is rested.
At work, wanting to do a great job is a good desire. It can help to make that desire concrete. Try writing down two or three clear priorities for each day, focusing on what you can actually do and control, and checking in with your supervisor when you can to be sure you understand what is most important. That kind of steady, faithful approach often eases pressure and builds trust over time.

Your desire for peace in your home and for faithfulness in your daily work is a right and needful prayer, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.
He it is who maketh peace in our borders, Psalm 147:14, and there is no true peace at home apart from His presence. The peace of God is not wrought by our own striving, but is given to those whose mind is stayed upon Him, because they trust in Him, Isaiah 26:3. That perfect peace was purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ when He bore our debt of sin upon the cross, and when we come and lie at His feet, confessing our sin and looking to Him alone for salvation, He speaks peace to the soul and then makes that peace to be felt within our walls. We pray that the Lord will keep your heart stayed upon Christ, that you will have His Word plentifully in your home not as a dark lantern shut up unused, but as a lamp that orders all your speech and conduct there, so that what is witnessed at home may be the grace of Christ abiding in you.
For your work, we pray also that the Lord will give you strength and diligence to do it well. As the disciples toiled and at His word let down the net again, Luke 5:5, so we are to labour faithfully at the bidding of the Lord, not from mere expectation of success in ourselves, but because He commands it and is able to bless it. May He give you wisdom, steadiness and a willing mind and hand, that you may do your work heartily as unto Him, and may His blessing rest upon the labour of your hands.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who alone can give strength to Thy people and bless Thy people with peace, look in mercy upon this home. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, and let Thy perfect peace rule in every heart there. Let Thy Holy Spirit dwell there, and let Thy Word have its proper place, that piety and love may abound. Grant also grace and skill for daily work, that it may be done with honesty and diligence for Thy glory, and provide that which is needful. Keep this dear one trusting in Christ alone, and cause Thy peace, which passes all understanding, to keep heart and mind through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
