Your desire for patience is a good and biblical desire, and God hears that prayer. The Scriptures speak often about this kind of patience, and it is not simply learning to endure annoyance, but learning to wait upon the Lord with confident hope, trusting that He will work in His own time.
You mentioned Noah, who waited faithfully while God fulfilled His word even as others scoffed. That is a picture of the patience of hope. The Bible tells us we have need of patience, that after we have done the will of God we might receive what He has promised. The saints of old inherited the promises through faith and patience, not through faith alone. James gives us the same exhortation as we wait for the coming of the Lord. We are to be patient and establish our hearts, because the Lord as the farmer is waiting for the precious fruit of the harvest. He has great patience, and Peter reminds us that what may seem like delay is really the longsuffering of God, who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
In the same way, we ourselves groan within ourselves as we wait for the full adoption, the redemption of our bodies. Creation groans together in travail, waiting for that day. While we wait, we are sustained by hope. Hope that is seen is no longer hope, but when we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it with patience. One day hope will become reality, but until then hope keeps us steady because we know God's Word is true. He has already delivered us from the wrath to come through Jesus whom He raised from the dead and for whom we wait from heaven.

So often when we do not wait upon God we create problems for ourselves, but when we wait long enough, God works things out according to His wisdom.
So I will pray with you that God will direct your heart into His love and into patient waiting for Christ. That He will grant you through His Word the comfort and patience you need, that your hope will be strengthened, that you will continue in the work of faith and labor of love while you wait, and that you will trust His timing for favor, provision, and all that you need. May He guard you from the schemes of darkness and keep you standing firm in Christ, waiting with confidence for Him to fulfill every promise in the perfect time He has appointed.
