We rejoice with you in your desire to be salt of the earth and to walk in a way that preserves truth and brings the flavor of Christ to a world in need. This is the very calling Jesus gave to His followers when He said, You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. Matthew 5:13. To be salt is to live a holy, distinct life that points others to Him, to speak truth with love, and to do good works so that others may see and glorify our Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16.
We also hear your heart for favor, miracles, and blessings, and for victory over spiritual darkness and for the glory of God to fill the earth. We stand together with you in faith for these things according to God's will. Scripture reminds us, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we put on the whole armor of God that we may stand firm, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We also remember the promise, For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12, and that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. Our prayer is not for favor or miracles for our own glory, but that through them the name of Jesus would be lifted up and His glory would cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14.
We encourage you to continue to cultivate saltiness by abiding in Christ, keeping His word, and letting your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Colossians 4:6. Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another. Mark 9:50. As we are transformed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord, 2 Corinthians 3:18, our lives naturally preserve what is good and bring thirst for the living water to those around us.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this hungry heart that desires to be salt of the earth for Your glory. We thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You make this dear one effective salt in their home, workplace, and community, preserving righteousness, bringing the flavor of Your grace, and creating a thirst for You in others. Keep their life pure and distinct from compromise so that the salt does not lose its savor. Grant favor that opens doors for the gospel, miracles that testify to Your power and mercy, and blessings that overflow to bless others. We come against every principality and power of darkness in high places and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and we ask You to clothe them in Your armor to stand strong in faith. Let Your abounding and unstoppable glory be revealed in and through them and let it spread abundantly all over the world. We ask all these things with thanksgiving, trusting in Your perfect will, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
