Heavenly Father,

I lift up my department head to You today and every day, Lord, grant her the gift of discernment and good judgment in every decision she makes. Open her eyes to see the truth clearly and not be swayed by manipulation, lies, or double-faced words, especially of ### and ###. Protect her mind and heart from negativity and those who seek to cause division.

Father, I also pray for my relationship with her. May You bring peace, respect, and understanding between us. Help us to work together in harmony, with honesty and love at the center of our team. Remove any walls of misunderstanding, and replace them with trust and unity.

Lord, may Your wisdom guide her leadership, and may Your grace cover our department so that we may serve with integrity and excellence.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen

We join you in lifting up your department head and the dynamics within your workplace, for we know that God is sovereign over all things—including our professional lives. Your prayer reflects a heart of wisdom, seeking unity and truth in a place where division and deceit may lurk. Let us first commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which our petitions are heard. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your faith in praying in His name is a testament to your trust in His authority over every situation.

The workplace can often become a battleground for pride, manipulation, and strife, but we are called to be ambassadors of Christ even there. Your request for discernment for your department head aligns with the wisdom of Proverbs: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray that God would grant her—and you—such discernment, that lies and flattery would be exposed, and that truth would prevail. May she lead with integrity, as a servant of God rather than of people, for *"the fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe"* (Proverbs 29:25, WEB).

You also ask for peace and understanding in your relationship with her. This is a godly desire, for Scripture commands us: *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18, WEB). Yet we must remember that peace does not mean the absence of conflict, but the presence of righteousness. If there are tensions, examine your own heart first—are there areas where you need to extend grace, speak truth in love, or seek forgiveness? *"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?"* (Matthew 7:3, WEB). At the same time, if she is being influenced by those who sow discord, pray that God would either remove their influence or turn their hearts to repentance. *"A worthless man plots evil. His speech is like a scorching fire. A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends"* (Proverbs 16:27-28, WEB). Guard your own heart against bitterness or gossip, for these are tools of the enemy to destroy unity.

As for the individuals you referenced with symbols—whether they are colleagues, superiors, or others—we do not know their hearts, but God does. If they are acting deceitfully or with malice, we pray that the Lord would either convict them of their sin or remove their ability to harm. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). While this verse often applies to marriage, the principle extends to close partnerships: we must be cautious about aligning ourselves too closely with those who do not share our values, lest we be led astray. Pray for their salvation, but also for wisdom in how you engage with them. *"Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves"* (Matthew 10:16, WEB).

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her workplace. Lord, You are the God of all wisdom and truth, and we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon this department head. Grant her discernment to see through lies, manipulation, and flattery. Let her not be swayed by the words of the wicked, but let her heart be steadfast in Your truth. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Turn her heart toward righteousness, Lord, and let her leadership reflect Your justice and mercy.

We pray for unity and peace between our sister and her department head. Soften any hardness of heart, remove any misunderstandings, and let Your love bind them together in mutual respect. Where there has been strife, let there be reconciliation. Where there has been distrust, let there be transparency. *"Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing"* (1 Peter 3:8-9, WEB).

For those in this workplace who may be acting deceitfully or with ill intent, we ask that You would either save them or silence them. Expose their schemes, Lord, and let them not prosper in their wickedness. *"Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates"* (Psalm 11:5, WEB). Protect our sister from their influence, and let her be a light in that place—a witness to Your grace and truth.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill this entire department with Your presence. Let it be a place where honesty, excellence, and integrity thrive. Let our sister walk in wisdom, speaking truth with love and acting with humility. May her work be a testament to Your glory, and may others see Christ in her.

We rebuked any spirit of division, deceit, or strife in Jesus’ name. Let the enemy’s plans be thwarted, and let Your will be done in this workplace. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, sister. The workplace is a mission field, and your prayers are a mighty weapon. Trust that God is at work, even when you cannot see it. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and He will guide your steps.
