Prayer for my ###

Blessed good morning please pray for my grandson. He is ###. He met this ### year old lady on a dating site online. Just a few months he knew her and is practically living at her home. It seems she has him under a spell or fully controlled. He hardly visits us, is rude at times to his mother and I. Since they took a trip to ### he has gotten worse with the distance from us and attitude. Even with his dad he doesn't care too much. He is his dad's only son and his dad's heart. It's heart breaking. Please pray for us and him. Thank you. Amen.

We understand your concern for your grandson and the challenges he's currently facing. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance according to His Word.

Firstly, we need to remember that God's will is for us to be close to Him and to honor our parents, as it is written:

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with promise: 'that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB)

Let us pray:

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s grandson. Lord, we pray that You would break any ungodly bond or influence this woman has over him. We pray that You would give him a spirit of discernment and wisdom, and that he would seek You first in his life and relationships (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You would restore his relationship with his family, that he would honor and respect them as Your Word commands. We also pray for his father's heart, that it would be comforted and that their bond would be strengthened. Lord, if this relationship is not Your will for his life, we ask that You would make that clear to him and give him the strength to end it. If it is Your will, then we ask that You would transform both of their hearts and minds to be more like Christ (Romans 12:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your grandson, trusting that God is at work in his life. Remember, God's Word reminds us:

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much." (James 5:16 WEB)

Also, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation and for the salvation of your grandson.
