Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join you in bringing your wife and your brother before the Lord in prayer as they face biopsies this month.
We thank God with you that both are believers in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior and are saved by His grace. That faith makes them saints and members of His Body, and it is a great comfort to know they are already held securely in His hands.
We pray that the Lord will grant them His peace that passes understanding in the days leading up to and following these procedures. We ask Him to give wisdom and steady hands to the doctors and medical staff, to guide the results, and to grant healing according to His perfect will. We pray that He will quiet any fear and fill your wife, your brother, and your whole family with trust in His goodness and care, and with strength for each day.
We also pray for you as you support them, that God will give you grace to encourage them, to minister to them in love, and to rest in the knowledge that He wills that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and that He cares for His own.
May the Lord grant favorable results if it be His will, and above all may He be glorified in their lives and yours, and may you all continue to lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness, trusting Him through this trial.
We commit them both to the mercy of God our Savior and ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
