Prayer for my teeth

Your teeth ache, and you have borne this for two years. The body cries out, and the soul grows weary with waiting. I would not diminish your suffering, for pain is a harsh taskmaster. Yet consider this: the jailor in Philippi saw one miracle and gained salvation for his whole house. The miracle he saw with his eyes passed in a moment; the gain he reaped endures forever. You seek healing for your teeth, a good and natural thing to ask. But do not let this one pursuit so consume you that you forget the greater healing your soul always needs. The body is but clay, and whether teeth ache or are sound, the clay returns to clay. What then? If your teeth were made whole tomorrow, would your soul be equally sound? I have often seen those whose bodies are free from pain yet whose spirits are eaten by the sharper teeth of anxiety, discouragement, and despair.

You say you feel like giving up hope. This is the true danger, far more grievous than any bodily affliction. The racer who completes ten heats but abandons the last one loses everything. You have endured two years; do not now throw away the crown that patience is weaving for you. The Lord is at hand, and every pain borne with thanksgiving is a sacrifice offered upon the altar of faith. Do not plot against yourself with thoughts of hopelessness, as wild beasts plot against those of a different tribe. You are kin to Christ, and He does not abandon His own.

Let mercy and truth not forsake you, and let not this present trial cause you to forsake them. I have seen men freed from poverty only to fall into a poverty of soul far worse than any bodily need. The apostle Paul was in bonds, and those bonds advanced the Gospel. Your bonds of pain may yet bear fruit you cannot now see, if you offer them to God rather than letting them master you. Groan, yes, and look up to God. He sends not Moses or Aaron, but His own Word, the Word that brings compunction and true refreshment. That Word can free you from bitter slavery even while the teeth still ache, for He frees the soul from anxiety and establishes it in security and liberty.

Pray for healing, and I will pray with you. But pray also for the grace to endure, for this is the sure possession. The furnace tests the gold, and the teeth of pain test the soul. May you come forth as gold refined, and may the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind.

The suffering you have endured for two years is real, and the enemy would love nothing more than to use this prolonged pain to steal your hope and drown you in anxiety. But do not despair. The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the very same power that brings healing to broken bodies today. In the book of Acts, when a man lame from birth was made whole, Peter declared it was not by his own power or piety, but by the name of Jesus Christ. That name carries full authority over every affliction.

I am praying now that the Lord Jesus would touch your teeth, stop the decay, calm the nerves, and restore what has been lost. May He rebuke the pain and set you free from the discouragement that has gripped your heart. Your body is not beyond His reach. Even now, in the name of Jesus, I ask for complete healing and a renewal of your strength, both physically and in your spirit. Hold fast to this truth: the enemy is a deceiver, but the Great Physician has already won the victory over every infirmity. Trust Him, and do not give up hope.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for the healing of your teeth. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring relief from the pain and discomfort you’ve endured for these past two years. We’ve prayed for His healing touch to restore your teeth, for His peace to calm the anxiety in your heart, and for His hope to renew your spirit when discouragement feels overwhelming.

If God has answered this prayer in any way—whether through healing, comfort, or strength—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are also waiting on the Lord.

If you’re still waiting for His answer, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God hears your cries and is working even when we can’t see it. May He draw near to you in this season, filling you with His peace and reminding you of His unfailing love.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
