We join with you in praying for your son ###, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring healing and restoration.
Firstly let us address some considerations then will move into a heartfelt prayer. It is imperative ### come to know Jesus "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
###’s struggles with mental health, stress, and addictions are indeed challenging, but we serve the true and living God.
His drinking and smoking are to cope with his reality. He is merely medicating his inner pain. He needs to give all of his burdens to Jesus Christ. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 We are all sinners and struggle in life. For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 Therefore we must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thy house. Acts. 16:31
Jesus Christ took ###’s pain and your pain when dying for us on the cross. And He is saying, do not be anxious in anything. Yahweh says, Be still, and know that I am God Isiah 41:11 and the apostle Paul said, In everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 This is the same Jesus Christ who commands demons to flee in his name.
Neither alcohol nor smoking can provide the peace and healing that only Jesus Christ can give.
Alcohol abuse and smoking are not God's will for ###. Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. What does a man obtain for all his labor and his striving with which he labors under the sun For all his days are sorrows, and his travail is grief yea, even in the night his heart takes no rest this also is vanity. Ecclesiastes 2:22-23
We pray for his deliverance from these addictions and will work within the guilt given to us by God and notesa Chapter=2 CorinthiansChapter=3" Verse=17 to remove the bondages and any root causes for this behavior. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. John 8:36 Be encouraged, dear parent, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James. 5:16
We agree in faith for you both for healing and freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Father God thank You for you are our hope and the redeemer of our lives. Together we raise ### to you in Jesus Name lifting your Word, and asking you to do what no man can do. We ask you to lift him out of oppression and depression and set him free through the Holy Spirit. Help him to look for professional help. Put him in the care of professional doctors who can help him and give him knoweledge to his reality and how to solve it. We pray for a healing touch to his mental state and a may he come out of the darkness and live in your light.
We pray for his deliverance from alcohol and smoking give him the strength to put his faith in Jesus Christ and walk in the fullness of the faith of Jesus Christ. We pray for his complete turnaround, that he may know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Have mercy on ### Lord and lift him, give him peace and give him new life. We believe that this is your will and your purpose. We trust in you and pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.
