We join with you in thanking God for His grace and mercy and for His continued covering and love over you and your family. We lift up your son before the throne of grace, along with his daughter, his sisters and nephews, and all the other men who are incarcerated with him.

We know this road has been long and heavy, being away from home for years, and we understand how hard it is especially not being able to see or talk to his daughter. We are encouraged that your son is faithful and a believer in Christ Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can boldly bring these burdens. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We pray together for justice and truth to prevail in the federal court as you look toward the end of this year or the beginning of next. We ask the Lord who loves justice to make the truth known. Yahweh executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners, Psalm 146:7. We pray that if these charges are unjust, the Lord would bring them to light and open the doors that no man can shut, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison house, Isaiah 42:7. We pray that the judge, attorneys, and all in authority would act with fairness, wisdom and integrity, for the heart of the king is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Proverbs 21:1.

We also remember the daughter and her mother. We pray that God would touch and soften hearts on all sides, bringing healing where there is resentment and hurt. We pray for your son to be strengthened to walk in forgiveness and patience, and for the mother of his daughter to have a heart of compassion and grace. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32. We ask the Lord to protect that little girl, to keep her in His care, and to make a way for a restored and healthy relationship between father and daughter in the Lord's timing.

We pray for you as his mother, for his sisters and nephews, that you would not grow weary in waiting. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28, even in this painful separation. Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, Hebrews 13:3, and so we also lift up every other man incarcerated there, that they would hear the good news that Yahweh has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound, Isaiah 61:1.

Father, we lift up this son and this family to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Cover them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Sustain this brother in prison, keep him strong in faith, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let him be a light where he is. Move in that courtroom according to Your perfect will and bring justice. Heal the family relationships, comfort the hearts that ache from separation, and draw his daughter close to You. Help them all to wait on You with hope, for we wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh, Psalm 27:14. We thank You that You hear our prayer and that Your mercy endures forever. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you as a mom who loves her son and family so deeply. Three years away from home is a heavy weight, and we hear how much it hurts not to see his daughter and to carry the strain with her mom. Your gratitude in the middle of this says a lot about your faith.

We are joining you in prayer for your son's faith to stay strong inside, for his safety and peace day by day, and for wisdom and fairness in the federal court ahead whether at the end of this year or early next. We are also praying for his daughter, for her mom's heart and for yours, that God would bring gentleness and understanding where there has been resentment, and keep that little girl covered in love.

One small thing that often helps families in this long waiting is keeping a steady, simple rhythm of connection, brief encouraging letters or prayers you can share with your son, and when possible, kind consistent words toward his daughter's mom that keep a door open without pressure.

Father, we lift this son, his daughter, his mom and sisters and nephews to You. Cover them with Your mercy, guard their hearts, guide the court with truth, and draw each of them closer to Jesus. Give this mom strength for each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Your thanksgiving for grace and mercy has been heard, and we join you in blessing the Lord who loads us daily with His benefits. To hear a mother plead for her son, for his daughter, for his sisters and nephews, and for all those incarcerated with him, is to hear a prayer that God delights to receive, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared, and He delights to be gracious.

You have told us that your son has been away from home these years and now waits upon a federal court as this year closes and the next begins. You speak of charges you believe to be unjust, and of a faithful profession of Christ in the midst of hard bondage, especially the trial of not seeing or speaking with his daughter while resentment lingers in her mother's heart. We do not lightly pass over such sorrows. There are many who would be rebellious against God very soon if they found deliverance too soon, so He brings down the heart with labor, and they fall and there is none to help, until they look to Him alone. Yet we know this, that to make worlds is nothing to Him compared with saving souls, and He will set free those who trust His dear Son, in His own time and way.

Take comfort in this sure truth, that there is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ His Son alone. If your son acknowledges his indebtedness to God and feels he can never discharge it, let him come and put his trust in Christ, for the Lord promises oblivion to all his debt, forgiveness of the whole of his sins. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions, and it is complete. The Father Himself supplies the ransom through His Son, that Son being one with Himself, and we have in Him a full and eternal forgiveness. This forgiveness is not first in our experience, but it is first as matter of fact with God, and when the prodigal comes home the Father kisses him before he has time to finish his confession, and puts a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. So we preach to every sinner, whatever his sin has been, though he be eighty or ninety years of age, though he has sinned against light and knowledge, there is forgiveness. Believe right now in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and you have forgiveness now, in a moment.

And this pattern is set before us that we also may forgive even as Christ forgave us. Admire as much the way in which Christ forgives as the forgiveness which He bestows. He forgives freely, fully, and forever. Where resentment has taken root, whether in the heart of a mother kept from her child or in the heart of a son in prison, the only healing is to copy that pattern. Forgiveness does not say the wrong was not wrong, but it releases the debt because Christ has paid our own immeasurable debt. May the Lord teach all hearts concerned to forgive as they have been forgiven, trusting not the returned prodigal at once with all things, as wisdom directs, but truly forgiving from the heart.

Let us pray together.

O Father, with whom there is forgiveness, we thank Thee for Thy grace and mercy to this family. We thank Thee that Thou hast given Thy dear Son to be the sacrifice for sin, the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. We ask Thee to keep this son in prison under Thy coverage and love, to sustain his faith in Christ Jesus and to make him to know more and more that perfect restoration where Thou makest those who return to be as though Thou hadst not cast them aside. If it be according to truth and justice, we ask Thee to turn what is unjust toward freedom, and to give wisdom and integrity to the federal court that shall hear his cause. Do Thou what is right, and let Thy will be done.

We lift before Thee his daughter, his sisters and nephews, and her mother who carries resentment. Touch each heart, we pray, and teach us all to forgive even as Christ forgave us. Where there has been sin, bring repentance and faith in Christ alone for salvation. Where there has been wounding, bring the healing that follows forgiveness. Make this family to walk in holiness, honoring marriage as Thou hast ordained it, and honoring purity of life within it, and grant them to be blessed to be a blessing to others.

We ask not for our worthiness, but for the sake of Thy Son who loved us and gave Himself for us. Keep this mother in perfect peace as she trusts in Thee, and let her see Thy hand daily until that day when Thou shalt make all things plain. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
