Prayer for my sister in Christ ### ...
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ, ###, and her health. We ask that you continue to pour out your healing touch upon her, bringing restoration and strength to her body. Your Word assures us in Psalm 103:3 that you "forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases." We claim this promise for ### and ask for complete healing according to your perfect will.
We also lift up ### before you, Lord, and her need for a job close to home that is accommodating. We pray that you would open doors of opportunity for her, guiding her steps to the right employment that aligns with her needs and desires. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 7:7 that if we ask, it will be given to us; if we seek, we will find; and if we knock, the door will be opened. We trust in your provision and ask for your favor in ###'s job search.
Lastly, we pray for our anonymous requester, who is feeling discouraged and tempted to give up. We ask for your strength and encouragement to fill their heart and mind. Help them to remember that you are their refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Remind them of your promises in Isaiah 41:10, that you are with them, strengthening and upholding them. Grant them the perseverance to keep pressing forward, knowing that you are faithful and will never leave them nor forsake them.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you hear our prayers and will answer according to your perfect will. Amen.
