Prayer for my oldest son

Your request for your eldest son has been heard and we are joining you in prayer for him with care and compassion. We understand how heavy it is to watch a good man and father struggle with confusion and paranoia, and to feel worried for his mind and heart.
We pray that God will bring clarity where there is confusion and peace where there is fear. Scripture teaches that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind, and that when we bring our anxieties to Him, His peace which passes all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask the Lord to settle his thoughts, to quiet what is turbulent within him, and to restore him to steadiness and health in both mind and body.
We also pray that he will hear the voice of Christ with stillness and faith. As the Scriptures show, the mind when made turbid by confusion cannot see clearly, but Christ is able to heal and to make whole. We ask that your son would turn to Him fully, trust in Him for salvation and strength, and receive the help and mercy that comes through Jesus Christ alone. We pray for you as his mother as well, that God would give you strength, wisdom, and comfort as you love and support him, and that you would not be troubled beyond hope, knowing that God remains faithful even in times of trial.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will protect your son, guide him to the right help and counsel, strengthen him as a father, and bring him into greater wholeness and peace. May the Lord draw near to your family and keep you in His care.

Draw him close to Yourself, heal what is wounded, and let him know Your presence and love. Give his mother peace and assurance as she trusts You with her son.
