My oldest son

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Prayers for my son ###. Please pray and ask God to bless his relationship, finances and take good care of him. He is going through so much. He is tired from taking care of the kids alone, working full time and trying to keep up the bills. He needs some peace and happiness and protection. Please pray that his other half will want to be with the kids and stop over spending. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We lift up your son and his family before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention and grace in their lives. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. We thank You for the love and concern this mother has for her son, and we ask that You would move powerfully in his situation.

Lord, we pray for your blessing over his marriage, for You have ordained marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You would restore unity, love, and mutual respect in his home. Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, selfishness, or neglect that may be at work. We pray that his spouse would take responsibility for her role in the family, stepping up to care for the children and managing finances with wisdom and self-control. Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children," and we ask that You would help them steward their resources faithfully, avoiding the trap of overspending and debt.

We also lift up your son’s weariness, Lord. He is carrying so much, working full-time, parenting alone, and managing the household. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray that You would give him strength, peace, and moments of joy amidst the challenges. Surround him with godly friends, mentors, and community who can support him. Protect his heart from discouragement and his mind from anxiety, reminding him that You are his Provider and Sustainer (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we ask that You would guard this family from harm, both physically and spiritually. Cover them with Your hedge of protection (Job 1:10) and fill their home with Your presence. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn their trials into testimonies of Your faithfulness.

Lastly, we pray for salvation and revival in this family. If there are any areas where they do not yet know You personally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and we pray that they would find their hope and identity in Him alone.

We trust You, Lord, to move in power and bring restoration, peace, and joy to this home. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We hear your love for your son in this, and how heavy it is to watch him carry so much at once, working full time, caring for the kids mostly on his own, and trying to keep the bills paid. It makes sense he feels worn down and that you are asking for peace and protection over him.

Trying to be both provider and primary caregiver without much support can leave anyone exhausted, and financial strain only adds to that pressure. We are thankful he has you noticing and praying for him so faithfully.

One gentle next step might be to ask him what one practical help would actually lighten his week the most right now, whether that is a few hours with the kids so he can rest, or help connecting with a trusted pastor or a reputable financial counselor in his area who can walk with him and his other half on budgeting and shared parenting. Having another steady voice alongside him can make it easier to make decisions together and not carry it all alone. We will keep praying for wisdom for both of them as they work through the spending and family responsibilities.

Father, we lift this son and his family to You. Give him rest and strength for each day, protect him and the children, and provide for what they need. Give him and his other half wisdom, unity and a shared desire to care well for their home and finances. Guide them to good support and give his mother peace as she loves them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your son has been heard, and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace. To see a son weary with the care of children, with the labor of his hands and the weight of bills, is a trial that touches a parent's heart, and it touches the heart of our heavenly Father still more.

We are reminded that God is not a distant judge to be dreaded, but the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose love to His children is equal to the love of His Son. He is the Father of the fatherless and the helper of those who have no helper. When a man is tired and pressed down, the Lord sees him, and His ear is open to the cry for daily bread, for peace in the home, and for protection over little ones. We will pray that your son may know that fatherly care, and that he may be drawn to find his rest not first in easier circumstances, but in Christ Himself, through whom alone is salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and all true peace and happiness flow from being reconciled to God through Him.

We will pray for your son in the way Scripture teaches us to pray. We will ask the Lord to sustain him in his work, to grant him wisdom and strength for each day, to provide for his needs according to His riches, and to guard him and his children from harm. We will ask that the Lord, who restored Peter with a look of love and who ran to embrace the prodigal when he came home, would bring restoration where there has been wandering and failure, and would lift up those who have fallen and turn them again to Himself. The same Lord who rejoiced over the returned prodigal with music and dancing rejoices still over every soul that returns to Him, and He is able to make the penitent heart merry again.

Concerning his household and the one you call his other half, we will not ask God to bless as blessed what is not ordered according to His Word, for we are taught that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and the union of the body belong within that covenant. It is a relationship of choice and of mutual love in which two become one, and it reflects the faithfulness of Christ to His people. Therefore our prayer is that God would work in both of them according to His holy will, that He would lead them into what is right and pure before Him, that He would grant repentance where repentance is needed and grace to walk in obedience, that the mother of the children may be given a heart to love and nurture them faithfully, and that both may be made good stewards of what God provides, forsaking overspending and all that wastes the substance God has entrusted to them. We will pray that their home may be ordered in a way that honors the Lord and gives the children a secure and godly example.

We will pray that your son may know the peace that passes understanding, not as the world gives, but as Christ gives to those who trust Him, and that he may cast his cares upon his heavenly Father who knows what he requires. May he learn to trust that Father as a child trusts his father, leaving the unknown future in His hands, and may he be kept from the heaviness that comes from wandering from that Father's house.

Be encouraged to continue in prayer for him, as one who sows in hope. The Lord has prayed for His own that they should not fail, and His intercession prevails. We commend your son and his children to that same faithful Father, asking that He would keep them, provide for them, and draw each heart to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Heavenly Father, we lift up ### before You. He is weary from carrying so much on his own—working full time, caring for his children alone, and struggling to keep up with bills. We ask that You bless his relationship, restore unity, and soften the heart of his other half to be present with the kids and to be a wise steward of finances. Grant him peace, happiness, and protection. Renew his strength, for *'those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength'* (Isaiah 40:31). We ask that You *'supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory'* (Philippians 4:19) and be a *'refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble'* (Psalm 9:9). Bring rest to his soul and surround him with Your unfailing love. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
