Prayer for my healing

Giliereth

Disciple of Prayer
Hi, this tine I have a prayer request fir myself. I am going for an ### appointment tomorrow, because doctors suspect I have either ### or ### of the central head. Please pray for my healing and that the scans will show nothing serious. Thank you!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this uncertain time. The fear and anxiety that accompany medical tests can be overwhelming, but we know that our God is greater than any diagnosis or fear. We stand on His promises, declaring that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that the scans reveal nothing serious, and that the Lord would guide the hands and minds of the doctors to provide clarity and wisdom.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm their heart and mind as they wait for the results. We rebuke any spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will restore your health and heal your wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).

We also want to gently remind you that our ultimate healing comes through Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father and receive salvation, both spiritually and physically. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we ask that You walk with our brother/sister through this journey. Give them strength for each day and the assurance that You are with them, even in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4). We pray for complete healing, whether it be through miraculous intervention or through the skill of the doctors You have provided. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.

We also pray for your faith to remain strong, knowing that the Lord works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May you feel His presence in a tangible way, reminding you that you are never alone.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re holding you close in prayer tonight, and we’ll be especially mindful of you as you head into that appointment tomorrow. Waiting for scans and results can feel heavy, and it’s completely normal to feel anxious. In the middle of that, we want you to know you are not alone, others are carrying this burden with you, and the God who formed your body sees you right now.

Over the years we’ve found that one of the deepest comforts for people facing health scares is simply knowing that fellow believers are praying for them by name. It reminds us that we aren’t isolated; we’re anchored in something far bigger than fear. So we are praying for healing, for a clear report, and for a sense of Christ’s peace to steady you no matter what the scans reveal.

We’re also asking the Lord to give your doctors wisdom and a careful eye. And while we don’t know the outcome, we do know you are held, valued, and never out of His sight.

Lord Jesus, we lift our friend to You right now. Please calm any racing thoughts, and fill that waiting room with Your presence. We ask for accurate scans, that nothing serious shows up, and for complete healing in the way You see best. Surround our friend with caring people and tangible reminders of Your love. We trust You in every outcome. In Your name, amen.

It is a mercy that you have sent this request, for the Lord delights to hear the prayers of His people, and it is our joy to bear you to the mercy, seat. Tomorrow you face the scanning, and the physicians suspect a heavy affliction. Yet remember, the great Physician walks the wards of the hospital as truly as He stood in the streets of Capernaum. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by His healing hand, for if He is God, there can be no limit to His infinite power.

Be not overawed by the suspicions of the doctors. The evil they fear is not unknown to your Lord. Lay hold of this truth: your confidence is in no measure or sense in what you are, nor in the clearness of the scans, but altogether in what Christ is on your behalf. Faith has the golden key of the ivory palaces, and it is faith that leads to prayer. Pray, then, with the simplicity of a child, “Jesus, Master, hear my cry; save me, heal me with a word.”

Let your trust rest wholly and entirely upon Christ, for no other faith will stand against the shock of dread tidings. I charge you, fall flat upon the promise of mercy which God has given through our Lord Jesus Christ, for when you are flat on the promise you cannot fall any lower. The shield of faith must be all of one piece, no mixture of hope in your own merit or the physicians’ skill, but simple reliance on Him who bled on Calvary. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown; the balm is at the Cross.

This trial may be the very means by which the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are one in Jesus. When He healed the palsied man, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee.” Seek first, then, the healing of your soul, and leave your body to Him who made it. Strong faith is content without signs, without tokens, without marvels; it believes God’s bare Word and asks for no confirming miracle. Yet I will ask the Lord, if it be His will, that the scans reveal nothing serious, and that you be restored to full health to His glory.

Meanwhile, this I know: if you are justified by faith, you have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. That peace will hold you steady as the examining table lies hard beneath you. Do not let your heart be troubled; neither let it be afraid. We shall pray without ceasing for you, and we look to the Day when the leaves of the tree are for the healing of all nations, and every shadow of sickness is gone forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How you face this appointment tomorrow is as important as the results themselves. When the soul is clear and free from the smoke of earthly anxieties, it can look steadfastly toward its true hope. But when many cares darken it, even the smallest trial causes us to grow weary and fall back. Do not let the fear of what may be found on those scans cloud your inner vision.

Remember the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who was promised precisely because of the afflictions that trouble us. He remains with us, a clear teacher in times when we must endure being ignorant of some things. The toil of uprooting evil opinions is great, but you can offer the Lord a clean ground of faith. Trust that even if these things are not clear to you now, God Himself is the physician who understands every hidden ailment. Whether the scans show something or nothing, He is preparing you to bear all things nobly, knowing that departure from health in this life can become the cause of great spiritual blessings. Lay aside the burdens that weigh you down, receive His peace with readiness, and enter that appointment with a soul purified by prayer rather than exhausted by dread. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this request. You are not alone as you walk into that appointment tomorrow. The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear? He is the strength of your life, so there is no need to let terror take hold, even when the mind races ahead to what the doctors might find. Fix your eyes on Jesus and not on the waves of uncertainty. Fear and faith cannot share the same space; one will always drive out the other. Let faith rise as you remember that He is watching over you.

I am praying that the scans will show nothing serious, and that your body will be free from whatever they suspect. Our Lord healed many during His earthly ministry, sometimes with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes instantly, and sometimes gradually. He still works through the healing processes He built into our bodies and through the wisdom He gives to medical professionals. Any true healing, however it comes, is from His hand.

At the same time, we hold this request with open hands. Not every illness is a sign of weak faith, and Scripture does not promise that God wills physical healing in every single case. Even the apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn in the flesh to be removed, and God gave him sustaining grace instead. So we ask boldly for a good report, yet we rest in the knowledge that His grace is sufficient and His cup overflows with goodness toward His children. Whether the scan reveals something or nothing, you remain safe in His pavilion.

Whatever you face, death itself holds no terror for those who belong to Christ. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That living hope anchors us. So go into that room without fear, knowing that the One who anoints your head with oil goes before you. I will continue to lift you up before His throne.
