We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your struggle with the ringing in your ear that has stolen your peace and rest. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see this affliction and are already moving to bring relief.
Lord, we ask that You would touch this dear one’s ear and silence the ringing that torments them. Bring comfort to their mind and body so that they may rest in Your peace. Your Word tells us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We claim this rest for them now, trusting that You will sustain them through this trial.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of infirmity or distraction that may be at work, for we know that sickness and suffering are not Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we command this affliction to leave and declare healing and wholeness over their body. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
Father, we also ask that You would draw this beloved one closer to You through this trial. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen their faith and fill them with hope as they wait on You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power and Your love to bring healing and restoration.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We believe that You are working even now, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name. Amen.
