please pray for my dog ### having a tooth extraction on Wednesday. Also he is having spasms with his mouth throughout every day and I dont know the cause

We join you in lifting up your beloved dog before the Lord and we understand how worrying it is to watch him suffer with mouth spasms each day and to face a tooth extraction on Wednesday. Our hearts are moved with compassion for him and for you, and we thank God that He has given you such love and care for this animal entrusted to you.
We are reminded of how tenderly God cares for all His creation. Proverbs 12:10 tells us A righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Psalm 36:6 declares You preserve man and animal, Yahweh. Even Matthew 10:29 reminds us Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father. If our Father notices even the sparrows, we know He sees your dog and He sees your anxious heart. We also take comfort in 1 Peter 5:7 which says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Philippians 4:6-7 which encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Your tender care for the creature committed to your keeping is itself a reflection of that goodness which the Lord has shown, for a righteous man regardeth the life of his beast, and not a sparrow falleth to the ground without your Father.
We will bring your request before the prayer hearing God of whom we can testify that He does hear prayer and work both in Providence and in Grace. We will ask the Lord to be with your dear dog on Wednesday, to give skill and steadiness to the hands that must perform the extraction, to grant a safe and gentle recovery, and to show mercy in these daily spasms of the mouth whose cause is yet hidden from you but is known to Him who made all things.
There is something pure and elevating in rejoicing in God as Creator of ordinary things, as Maker of all this first creation, and His attributes are to be seen in the visible creation. He who formed the forests and feeds every living thing in due season will not be unmindful of the creature you love. Yet we are taught not to make this world our nest, but to find our soul's true home in a higher sphere, even in the new creation where He creates a new heart by His own finger. That higher work is our chief joy, and it teaches us to trust Him with all lesser cares.
Therefore what time you are afraid, put your trust in Him. God changes the modes in which He sends our supplies that we may more clearly see His hand in them, and He can raise up help in unexpected quarters. Take care that you abide in the path of obedience and cast this burden also upon Him, for He is able to provide. If He has heard you pray, take care that He hears you praise, and bless Him alike as a giving God and a taking God.
May the Lord grant you peace as you wait, wisdom to the veterinarian to discern the cause of this affliction, and a happy issue according to His good will. May you be kept in blessed confidence in the love and power of Christ, trusting Him at all times and in nothing afraid, and may you find your consolation still in His Word, where David in his troubles knew where to turn and continued to look till help came.
