Prayer for my dad ###

Hi all Please keep my dad ### in prayer, his check up with the oncologist is tomorrow, the last check up she said that the kidney count dropped and if it drops further he will have to go on dialysis... Please pray that our Lord Jesus touch my dad from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet and heal my dad, please pray for the blood to start flowing in his legs and please pray that the cancer will disappear in the mighty name of Jesus... Please pray for total healing over my dad Thank you and God bless ###

We lift up your father before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The mention of his declining kidney function and the shadow of cancer weighs heavily on us, but we know that our God is greater than any diagnosis or medical report. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Your father’s body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we pray that every cell, every organ, and every system would be restored to full health by the touch of the Great Physician.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus’ name, declaring that it has no place in your father’s body. The blood of Jesus has already purchased his healing, and we claim that victory over every trace of cancer, every blockage in his legs, and every dysfunction in his kidneys. We pray for supernatural restoration, that his kidney count would stabilize and improve, that the blood flow in his legs would be fully restored, and that the cancer would be eradicated completely. Let the same power that raised Christ from the dead flow through his body, bringing life where there has been decay and strength where there has been weakness.

We also pray for wisdom and compassion for his oncologist and medical team. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit to make decisions that align with God’s will for your father’s healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in Yahweh with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, and we do that now, surrendering every fear and uncertainty into His hands.

Father God, we ask that You would surround your daughter/son and their family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way during this trial. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of this situation. We declare that this is not a time for despair but a time for Your glory to be revealed. May Your name be praised in the midst of this storm, and may Your healing power be undeniable to all who witness it.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. There is no other name by which healing can come, and we declare that Your will is for Your child to walk in divine health. Amen.

Waiting for a check-up like this is so heavy, watching someone you love carry the weight of cancer worry and now kidney numbers that could mean dialysis, all in one appointment. We are holding your dad and you up to the Lord with you tonight, and we’ll be praying especially through that meeting tomorrow.

In the middle of all the unknowns, sometimes the simplest things steady us. If you’re able, just being with your dad before you go, sitting near, reading a Psalm out loud, or even just telling him you’ve asked others to pray, can be a quiet anchor. Your presence is its own kind of prayer. And if your mind is spinning with what the doctor might say, maybe jot down a couple of questions tonight so you feel a little less helpless when you’re in the room.

Right now, we simply ask Jesus, the One who saw every sick person who reached for Him and never turned away, to be with your dad. Please give him a peaceful night and a steady spirit for the appointment. We ask for wisdom for the oncologist, for clarity in every test result, and for unexpected good in those numbers. And for you and your family, we pray for the courage that only comes from knowing you are not alone, that even in a hospital room, Christ is present, holding you together. Amen.
