We join you, ###, in lifting your marriage to the Lord, for He cares deeply for you and your spouse, ###. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come together in prayer and agreement with you.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We bring before You ### and ###'s marriage, surrendering it completely to Your will. Lord, You know their situation, and You are the Great Physician who can heal every wound and mend every broken heart. We ask that You bring healing to their relationship, helping them to forgive one another as You have forgiven us.
As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Help them to forgive freely and fully, just as You, Lord, have forgiven them.
We rebuke any plans of divorce, for Your will is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment. As Malachi 2:16 tells us, "For I hate divorce,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore, take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously."
Lord, protect their bond, and remove anyone or anything that is causing division in their marriage. Make a way where there seems to be no way, for with You, all things are possible. Guide them to submit to one another and to You, as instructed in Ephesians 5:21, "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ."
We trust in You, Lord, to mend their hearts back together, to restore their union, and to make their marriage stronger than ever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
###, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your hearts and minds focused on Him, and He will direct your paths.
As Psalm 37:5-6 encourages us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."
Stay strong in faith, and believe that God is working in your marriage. He is the God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for Him.
