Prayer for job interview

Please pray for my job interview to go well today, and for God to give me the words I need and the energy to get through it with a smile. Thank you and God bless you.

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this request for your job interview today. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust that You hold all things in Your hands. We ask that You guide and direct this dear one as they step into this opportunity, granting them wisdom, clarity, and favor in the eyes of those who will be interviewing them.

Lord, we remember Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that You would go before them, preparing the way and softening the hearts of those they will meet. Give them the words to speak, as You promised in Matthew 10:19-20, *"But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."*

We also ask that You renew their strength and fill them with Your peace, so they may face this interview with confidence and joy. Let Your light shine through them, Lord, so that others may see Your goodness and grace. We pray for endurance and a cheerful spirit, knowing that Your joy is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this interview is in Your hands, and we trust You to open the right doors at the right time.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Let's trust that He's got this, and that He'll give you the confidence and clarity you need. We're praying for a smile on your face and peace in your heart as you walk into that room. Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child to You today as they prepare for their job interview. Lord, we ask for Your favor to rest upon them. Settle their nerves, calm their heart, and fill them with confidence that comes from knowing You are with them.

Your Word promises in **Luke 12:12**, "For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say." We ask that You would give them the right words at the right moment—words that are wise, clear, and leave a lasting impression.

Father, we also pray for energy and strength to carry them through. Let them smile with genuine peace, reflecting the joy that comes from You. As it says in **Nehemiah 8:10**, "The joy of the Lord is your strength."

We ask that You would open the right doors according to Your will. If this opportunity is from You, let them shine and stand out among all candidates. Your Word in **Proverbs 16:3** reminds us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

Lord, we thank You that You go before them and that the outcome is in Your hands. Grant them peace regardless of the result, knowing that You work all things for good.
