Prayer for housing

We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find hope and salvation, as it is written Acts 4:12.
We hear the weight of what you are carrying, facing the loss of housing this week as a senior, and the fear and anxiety that comes with it, and our hearts are moved with compassion for you. We want you to know that God sees you, He has not forgotten you, and He cares deeply for your needs. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He promises to be near to those whose hearts are heavy Psalm 34:18.
We take comfort that our Father knows what we need even before we ask, and Jesus reminds us, Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat, what will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:31-33. We also cling to His promise, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up our dear friend to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the urgency of this need for housing this week and the fear that has risen up. We ask that You would provide a safe, stable, and affordable home according to Your mercy and provision, that You would open doors that no one can shut and guide every step toward the right place. We ask that You would quiet fear and anxiety with Your perfect peace, for Your word says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Lord, guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, give rest as You have promised Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and let Your presence be felt as shelter and comfort. Provide not only for the physical need of a home but for peace, strength, and assurance that You are holding this life in Your hands. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His word, and also to reach out for practical help around you, to your local church family, trusted friends or family, and community resources for seniors and housing assistance, trusting that God often provides through the hands of His people. We are standing with you, believing that God who has carried you through all your years will continue to be faithful now, for He has said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. May the Lord give you peace and a clear path forward in the days ahead.

Your request has been heard with deep sympathy and earnest prayer before the Lord, and your burden for a home and for peace in this time of trial is laid before His throne of grace.
The Lord knows the fear and anxiety that press upon you, especially when the need is so urgent and you feel your own weakness. As it has been well said, the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, and when that anxiety is confined within yourself no good will come of it. The gracious word of God therefore commands and comforts you, Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Again and again the Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, Fear not thou worm Jacob, I will help thee saith the Lord. It is not merely a preacher who cries Fear not, but it is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not.
We are commanded not to fear at all, for fear is weakening and dishonors Him who has all power to help and to keep. Perfect love casts out fear because fear hath torment, and when faith grows strong fear vanishes. To labor to get rid of fear is to trust the promised strength, to look unto Jesus who has conquered for us, and to rest in the mercy written in the Savior's breast.

Our gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we bring this dear senior before Thee who faces the loss of home this week. Thou seest the need and Thou knowest the fear and anxiety of heart. We ask Thee in Thy fatherly providence to provide a safe and suitable home, to open doors that no man can shut, and to supply daily bread and shelter according to Thy riches in glory. Grant relief from tormenting fear and give that peace which passeth understanding, that faith may overcome fear. Help this trusting heart to cast every care upon Thee, believing that Thou carest for Thy children. Let Thy presence be felt, for Thou hast said Fear not for I will help thee. Sustain, keep, and comfort, and cause Thy goodness to be known in provision and in quietness of spirit. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Redeemer, Amen.
May the Lord keep you in His care. Trust in His promised help, look unto Jesus continually, and be not dismayed, for He is your God and will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
