Prayer for health

We join together with you in lifting up your little sister's health before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for giving us the privilege to pray for her and for your family in this time of concern.
We know how tender the heart is toward a little sister, and we are reminded that our God is a compassionate Father who cares deeply for the little ones and for all who are in need of healing. We take comfort in His promises, for He says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3 we read, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the truth of James 5:15, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to come boldly before God in prayer. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we learn, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord as in Romans 10:9, that we are saved and brought into relationship with God. We pray that you know this precious hope and that you will bring every need to the Father in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this little sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know her by name, You formed her and You love her more than we can comprehend. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, restore her health, strengthen her little body, and bring complete wholeness according to Your will. We pray in Isaiah 53:5 that by Your wounds we are healed, and we ask for Your peace to guard her and her family. Give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers, comfort to her loved ones, and let Your presence be felt in her room. We pray that this trial would draw her family closer to You and that Your name would be glorified through her life. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to keep praying without ceasing as in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, and to seek godly medical care while trusting that God is sovereign over all healing. He is our refuge and strength, and He hears the prayers of His children. May the Lord bless you and your little sister and keep you in His perfect peace.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. There is a sweetness in your love for your little sister that you should bring her before the throne of grace, and I will gladly join my prayer with yours for her health.
Remember that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, for it has stayed plagues and brought down blessings from on high. When you plead for another, you are most like our Great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession, and there is not a single grain of His incense that is for Himself. Be encouraged then that the Lord will hear the prayer of one who stands in the gap for a dear one, even though it be a staggering prayer, a prayer that seems to reel to and fro because the heart is at its wits end. He hears the prayer that has not any sense in it according to orderly petition, when the soul is near unto the gates of death, for a true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer.
We have but one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one. He is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and there grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health. If the sick soul does but come to Jesus, there is no stint in His healing power. Though the soul be full of leprosy, the Saviour is full of grace.
Let us pray together for her.
O Lord, our God, remember Thy word unto Thy servant, for Thou hast taught us to plead Thy promises and to spread our case before Thee. Look in pity upon this little sister. Thou art the Good Physician, lay Thy healing hand upon her body and raise her up according to Thy mercy. Let Thy healing virtue work in her till she be restored to health and strength. And as Thou healest the body, grant that her soul also may know Thy pardoning grace, for we are on our way to eternal health and Thou wilt perfectly heal both soul and body in Thy good time. Hear this our intercession, not because we are worthy, but for Jesus sake, in whose name we plead. May He keep her from evil and bring her into perfect soundness to praise Thee.
Do not restrain prayer before God, but continue to cry unto Him with all the arguments you can muster, pleading His promises with humility of spirit. He was not long in answering those who cried unto Him in their trouble, and He will hear you. Only you who have been healed can tell of the Good Physician's power, and I pray you may soon have occasion to praise Him with thanksgiving for His goodness to your sister.
